Xbox are giving free Gears Reloaded codes to physical and PC owners of Ultimate Edition

I haven't touched a Gears game for probably ten years, but I noticed the talk about this promo online and so installed the Xbox app for the hell of it.
Thanks MS. I think I only ever played a couple of hours of UE back in the day, but I can't remember where as it isn't in my library. Maybe they went off my ancient gamerscore or something, where the first three games in the series were as finished on the 360.

No really. I think this is more to get PS owners on board with the series hence why they are practically giving away this game free on Xbox/PC and it's digital only on this platform. It's a bonus for them that E Day is prequel to this too.

Got mine. Gears ultimate is literally 1 of 2 games I've bought on the ms xbox store. So it's nice to get this update for free.

That's nice, too bad I didn't buy Ultimate back in the day, but only played it on GP.
And if the game is good, I'll be buying on Steam.
