Where's scalebound?

Also, where's xbox indie stuff?
Scalebound is being revamped and is a late 2017 title at best. This will be next E3 ore maybe even Gamescom. I wouldn't count on it showing.

Indie stuff I have no idea. There'll probably be a release date for Cuphead, Below and Inside and probably some new titles

Shinobi confirmed that scalebound will be at E3 earlier in the thread.

Why am I not on the train Ford? Why?
Because there's an application and approval process.

He should wear five and rip each one off every time he comes back on stage.
He should do that while someone else is announcing stuff. Just butt in on stage and rip off his shirt to reveal a Scorpio shirt as Scorpio gets announced by someone else. Although he'd probably want to announce the new hardware stuff, but you get the idea.

Microsoft is such a wildcard this year.

They have a ton of announced games to discuss that pretty well cover their release schedule for the next 12-16ish months and new hardware that's pushing a generational bump coming, but I'm talking compelling new AAA software. Forza Horizon 3 is pretty much a given, but conventional wisdom would suggest at least 1 or 2 other AAA announcements to get everyone excited for the future of Xbox especially with new hardware on the way. I mean, what is going to be their flagship game for Scorpio's launch? It's a bit early for a new Halo.

But what could their big game announcements be? That's where the real excitement is for me. Their past couple of E3s have shown just how surprising they can be. If it didn't leak, Scalebound from Platinum would have been a megaton. And who would have guessed a game like Recore from Armature and Inafune?

I LOVE going into an E3 show unsure of what to expect!

By the time Scorpios out halo 6 will Def be it's headline game

Mainline Halo games have always been on 3-year development cycles. If Scorpio really does come out fall of next year, that will only have been 2 years since Halo 5.

I can see perhaps a Halo spin-off, but not Halo 6. I can't help but feel it would be a rush job if they did that.

Sea of Thieves, Uncharted 4 really put me in the mood for Pirates.

And more on Crackdown 3 cloud tech, Gamescon demo blew me away.

Most importantly, Scorpio! Really excited for it.

Re-releasing 1st party games witch scorpio might entice ppl to double dip. Well buy the better xbox so Quantum break, halo 5, forza and etc get a patch that enables better visuals or whatever.

Og disks still play on the new xbox so current owners dont need to rebuy. They just need the newer xbox to see the higher visual.

I can see them list games that come with a day 1 patch for the scorpio.

The hardest part about guessing is that MS just has so many IP's they could bring out that I believe could be valuable and successful.

This may sound blasphemous to Rare diehards, but I always felt Perfect Dark would be great done in a Metal Gear Solid/Futuristic Splinter Cell format.

A Halo RPG has been discussed to death by the fanbase, they all want it.

Crimson skies redone as a vehicle only battlefield with crazy destruction, land/air/sea battles with large scale maps and a huge lobby limit would be amazing.

There's nothing like Jade Empire in terms of martial arts RPG's (on consoles), and I feel it also could be successfully revived. That's why there was hype for phantom dust, there's nothing else like it, to this day.

That's just what my intoxicated mind can think of the moment, plenty of others will list the crazy amount of potential MS has in terms of IP.

I was already forgetting about Crackdown 3. I hope we see a bit of its campaign and get a release date! =)

And yeah! I'm super hyped to see Sea of Thieves!!

Can't wait for Sea of Thieves. Just being pirates is enough for it to be my most anticipade game.

Also, where do I buy a ticket for the train?

Damn I am actually feeling very excited this time around for whatever MS has coming. Feels like we will get the first E3 that feels like the new leadership and team will get to express their vision since the X1 reveal. As opposed to backtracking and playing catch up.

Maybe they'll try one more time to relaunch Perfect Dark.

Revamped? Late 2017? Source?

I have thought the same thing! Or a Mirror's Edge/Splinter Cell game. First person, rappelling down skyscrapers, crawling through vents, etc. I actually think Shangheist, the cancelled game could have been a good Perfect Dark

Kind selfish but i really want a new feature update to support dolby atmos and hd sountracks. :p

Help me push my agenda to buy the 4k tv i have my eye on. :p

Do it. Ms. You helped me when gears 1 released.. Now is the time ;)

Madden NFL 17 Xbox Scorpio exclusive DLC featuring the 1996 Denver Broncos.

Seriously though, what I am most hoping to see:

  • Xbox Scorpio unveil with in-depth look at new hardware
  • Halo for Xbox Scorpio/Windows 10
  • Some kind of racing game other than Forza

I feel like Microsoft will surprise me this year more then anyone else. My E3 wishlist for Microsoft is:

Xbox Backwards Compatibility
So many quality titles that publishers have access to (PGR, Rallisport Challenge, Deathrow, JSRF e.c.t).

Return of Microsoft IP
I'd love to see new entries in some of Microsoft's IP such as:

  • Project Gotham Racing
  • Rallisport Challenge
  • Age Of Empires
  • Midtown Madness
  • Motocross Madness (Just no silly Avatar integration, something akin to Motocross Madness 2)
  • Kameo
  • Banjo-Kazooie
  • Links (EA's latest golf title was a let down)
  • Lost Odyssey

New Hardware
With all these new hardware rumours, all l want in a new box is 4K blu ray capabilities, as l would rather not have a blu ray player dedicated to just one thing in my entertainment room.

Any guesses on the "something else" 343 has to show/announce this year apart from Halo Wars 2?

Recent blog post:
“The Halo Wars 2 team is anxiously gearing up for E3, where the game will indeed be playable. There’s also – well, I can’t talk about more just yet.”

My guess would be that every Halo game going forward will launch simultaneously on Xbox platform(s) and PC, with cross-platform MP/co-op support with playlists separated by input device. (controller vs. KBM) Could also be a spin off game announcement that will be there for the launch of Scorpio.

Not sure if thread worthy but the Xbox one friends list was just updated to display if your on Xbox one sooo maybe further confirmation of a new system?

I don't know what exactly I'm expecting from this E3, but I do hope that we get a better idea of Phil's Xbox vision by the end of the year. Just as in years past, Ford, could I get a ride on the train to hype-ville! Thanks man :)

We can pretty much expect a new AAA IP being made by a external developer, right?

Every e3 with Phil Spencer we had at least one.

E3 2013: Ryse, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive
E3 2014: Scalebound
E3 2015: Recore, Sea of Thieves as well but Rare is a first party

Also at least one "old ip revival"

E3 2013: Killer Instinct
E3 2014: Phantom Dust (hopefully we will see PD again this year), Crackdown 3
E3 2015: Rare Replay (?)

thoughts? :p

Maybe the unification of the xbox store. Ppl on a pc will open the same friend/store app ppl open on their xbox one. This helps ppl know which device they are on perhaps.
