Xbox Full Screen Experience Running on Windows Desktop

Waiting for it to drop on Windows handhelds so I can install it on my Ally X. Can be a game changer for Windows based handhelds.

You can use it to change games. That is true

Does this work with my Nvidia RTX 4070? Don't have to wait for special drivers?

Edit-the recent xbox app update enabled the other store installs to show up in library. It's a bit of a mess but the games can be started.

Not sure how much this helps, but I've seen some stuff about the new W11 full-screen experience on Ally X from a JP user on Twitter.

But what kind of magic did MS use…
FSR is ON, but in 17w mode, Stellar Blade runs smoothly at 80FPS↑ (*´ω`*)

Thanks to software advancements, even older models can still compete…!
The thought of the Xbox Ally X being even smoother is quite daunting, isn't it? 😇

Full-screen version of Windows
Please note that it's at your own risk, but there are methods for applying this to gaming laptops or desktops posted on Reddit and similar platforms, so those who are interested might want to give it a try (*´ω`*)

(The lower the PC specs, the greater the effect is likely to be)

I don't give a damn until I see game performance and improvements that will at least put it on some level with steam os. And when you think about it and operating system that is using a translation layer is performing better than the garbage that we have in Windows

I've heard that FPS dosn't change much at all. The only thing improved is more memory available to games that would have gone to Windows.

When I had it installed on my Legion Go S, the only thing I noticed was Explorer wasn't running. I think Windows has too many dependencies to do a real dedicated gaming mode at this point.

Like in that thread recently about turning off One Drive, can make a noticable difference in how snappy Windows performs.
At least my PC shut down right away last night instead of sitting there thinking about it for a while before actually turning off.
