Heads up, everyone. The conversion (EA Play to GPU) is now just 2 months, not 4 months as it was before. MS/Xbox didn't make any announcement about this AFAIK.

That really was weird by Xbox. I mean no announcements, let alone a 7-day or 10-day warning beforehand. Instead, they just sneakily edited the text on their website, and that's it.
If someone bought the EA Play card specifically for this purpose and converted them to GPU the next day, he could have (and some likely would have) got fu*ked by this, because there was no warning or announcement.

I'm pretty sure the reason for this is that most of the money for those EA Play Codes goes to EA so they wanted that loophole closed. Sill enough ways to get GP cheaper if 13,- isn't already cheap enough.

Please point out where I defend any corporation. I just have empathy for people that have so much concern. Maybe open a thread or better a PSA and share your concern so more people can be concerned. I was literally waiting for the option to buy the game came available on Steam, and saw someone mention the game had just released on Gamepass.
Had zero idea it was even coming to Gamepass, so a very nice surprise!.
It also has a 50% off option if you want to buy the game, and as we have no buy option on Steam yet, dont know if Steam will have the same 50% off option when it goes live in about 11 hours.
So just a heads up for PC Gamepass users.

Played through both on the last 10k rewards thing. I was surprised by Doughnut County, the premise seemed so simple, but it worked for them.

I started Octopath Traveller last month after reading that it was a 40 hour long game. I’m at 110 hours wrapping up the side quests. I’m really enjoying it but I was not expecting it to be this long at all.

I finished it via PS+. It's a decent time but really overstays its' welcome.
My latest Gamepass adventures:
-Finished Outriders: Speaking of overstaying your welcome. The last two bosses are absolute dogshit. The loot system (perks, modification and upgrade) are the standouts of an otherwise forgettable game.
-Zombie Army: Thank you for making me miss my time with Outriders.
-MechWarrior 5: MW2 & 3 are some of my fondest gaming memories. Something just seems off about MW5. I think the starting Mech choices don't do the game any favors (Shadowcat/Thor) would have been a much better combo. Playing the game also gave me a headache. The game is also lacking any type of artistry and just looks ugly. I'm also not sure why they felt the need to model and have you roam around in your ship. That should have been menu driven. Sadness.

I just wanted to make sure we had a clear outline before it happens, because there are a few around here that get very upset when those 2 words are used in conjunction.
