Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Thread: Everyone wants it, no one uses it

Several more backward compatibility titles updated for me.
- Age of Booty
- Alien Hominid
- Geometry Wars

Edit - Anyone remember the shortcut to find out the version number of titles? I remember it was an odd mash of buttons on the Games & Apps picker, but can't seem to remember it.

so i recently got an xbox so I haven't been following this thread, but after reading an article about the next set of potential BC releases, it seems that Amazon is a good place to see what will be releasing soon if you sort by Xbox360 > upcoming digital?

Pretty excited about this one!:

Dead Space randomly disappeared from my Ready to Install list. I bought it a year or so back, it wasn't the Games with Gold version. When I check the Xbox Store it says to pay for it, but then on the Xbox website it says it's purchased. Could it have something to do with EA Access?

Could be, unless you're on the preview update. That's all over the place in terms of Ready to Install and etc.

Both bumpers and the (menu?) button

Anyone else playing Xcom Enemy Within get a blue bar across the bottom part of the screen? It comes and goes, but it's distracting...

Since multi disc games are fair game now....I'm foreseeing Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 BC announced at E3.... BioWare, please hear my aging 360's cries for retirement.

I couldn't wait any longer for Forza Horizon, so I dug my 360 out of storage and hooked it up. A bit of a pain as I'm out of hdmi inputs and room for another box, so I had to do a little temporary rearranging. Worth the hassle though :)

Hopefully it's BC soon.

I hope we'll get full XBLIG BC announced at the press briefing. I know that many people treat that set of software as shovelware, but there are dozens of legitimately good games there.

The majority is shovelware, but there are definitely some diamonds in the rough.

I played a game with zombies in it for starters.

I doubt it since the marketplace for indie games in shutting down in Fall 2017 - games you own still work and redownload but no more buying.

I see that Burnout Paradise is on the list for BC titles in the first post. Any timetable on when that game will be playable on Xbox One?

By the 14th as that's when Amazon will start selling it. Really hoping EA just say "right now" at their conference today or at the very least, MS does at theirs.

EA will probably announce it when they're talking about EA Access.

That seems more of a MS thing. Last year EA came on MS stage and talked about EA Access and announced Titanfall for it. Anything EA Access related or BC related till be at MS conference I'd assume.

But then again, there's Origin access now too, so maybe not.

Hoping for that Forza Horizon BC pre-order incentive for FH3, a bunch of EA BC games in the vault and a bunch of other titles from Ubisoft, first party etc.

SOTN doesn't show up on my Ready to Install list even though I'm positive I bought on the 360 ages ago when it came out. Not really sure what to do about it.
