Weird they'd make all the BS titles BC with the collection coming.

I just received an email from Xbox, and something caught my eye...

Looks like the email was probably prebuilt, maybe these titles were supposed to be available in this past update. Nevertheless, I would assume they're coming very soon. EDIT: The email was title "Power Play: March Issue", and is from the Microsoft Store in Canada.
pretty sure those were all games that were announced back in December. Might even be the same image, too.

Alan Wake, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and Pac-man are now live and available for backwards compatibility!

They DID include Gears 1 360 for free via BC if you got Gears Ultimate. Maybe the Collection will come with the 360 versions for shiggles like with Gears.

Gears 1, 2, 3 and J were all free w/Gears Ultimate. Not just the first game.

Bummer..
Yeah, there's too much content created specifically for that email for it to just be something an employee assumed/made up.That's some kind of PR damage control I'm sure, it's no coincidence that Halo Wars has been linked with users's 360 purchases
uhhh...from my memory the music is the exact reason the 360 version is inferior to the original. The music is quiet and muffled on the 360 version. SOTN came out well before they upped the allowed file size of xblive arcade games. You can now play a version with proper music
Halo wars available tonight for preview members

Interestingly enough, they actually bumped up the allowed file size with the release of SOTN. Must have not been enough.uhhh...from my memory the music is the exact reason the 360 version is inferior to the original. The music is quiet and muffled on the 360 version. SotN is running perfect as far as I can tell. Glad to have it.
The audio leaves a lot to be desired![]()
Wait, Halo Wars is free for preview members?
So hows Alan wake running on X1? The game's performance on the 360 was very solid if I remember correctly
Halo Wars players, anything worth noting?
Only issue I've found is the occasional audio scratchiness.
I have found scratchy audio to happen in every game, though it happens rarely.
Odd because I've only found it to happen in 2 games I've played. Those being Red Dead the short time it was playable and then Halo Wars. Who knows. either way the audio bugs like that aren't enough to make it unplayable. That's for sure.
