Wow, didn't Pro only get a 1800p rez bump and performance enhancement?
I can't wait for all these DF comparisons, This version will blow my PS4 version out of the water!
According to the Digital Foundry analysis the Pro uses 2160p with dynamic horizontal scaling when needed to 1800p but the checkerboarding apparently hides that if you're not going out of your way to look for it. They also mention improved shadows, ambient occlusion that was brought across from the PC version and better texture filtering which they estimate at around the 16x mark.
The performance isn't quite perfect although for the vast majority of the game it is, it's just the usual stuff with the alpha effects, particularly in the bog, according to DF.
It sounds like it's pretty much going to be the same patch for both consoles to be honest although the horizontal scaling and slight performance drops should be improved, if not removed in the Xbox One enhanced version. It should be good though as DF claim it's one of their favourite Pro upgrades.
I really just wish they'd add HDR to the game but it can take a hell of a lot of work if your game wasn't built with HDR in mind and it just may not be worth the investment for them. Who knows though.
