the 60fps now is nice, felt really weird for me when i played it cause i always played 4k30FH4 is just insane looking on XSX. So smooth and beautiful. All this power while nearly completely quiet and cool. Even visually, the console itself kinda fades into the background of your setup. I remember an article stating something to this effect: "It's like it's not even there." It's true.
I've had it downloading through the night. It's in the always-on/standby mode and I've just been adding games from my phone as I think of them. Loading times are ludicrously fast compared to Xbox One gen consoles. I haven't had a chance to try Quick Resume since I'm stacking a bunch of games first.
The visual smoothness is amazing. This game seems ripe for a 120fps patch at some point as well.the 60fps now is nice, felt really weird for me when i played it cause i always played 4k30
Even quieter than my One X, which I seldom ever heard.i get my xbox later today how’s y’alls is it quite ?

Huge props for the pre install feature. I was undecided with Valhalla but pre installed on my external just in case, and transferred it over when I set up.
Mrs Flintty just got me the physical game and all I need to do is download the XSX patch, which I had already started. Love it.
Yes. I switched from my One X controller.cant wait to get mine, just hope it works perfectly these vids have me worried.Stupid question can I use my play and charge battery on the series x controler?
Cool Thanks .Yes. I switched from my One X controller.
The headset adapter with volume controls works on the new controller too.
Holy shit, people weren't joking about FH4 on Series X. It's ridiculous how good it looks.
Fallout runs at 60fps and I believe I read that Skyrim really benefits from the SSD.Has any tried skyrim or fallout 4 do they run smoother?
That’s really good to hear thanks.Fallout runs at 60fps and I believe I read that Skyrim really benefits from the SSD.

Too bad it's a Swtich port and not the superior PC/PS4 original.
The game has a ton of QOL enhancements, additional quests, a 2D side story w/ the ability to play the full game in 2D, and an orchestral soundtrack. It is a huge step up over the original the only downsides are the lower render resolution and low res muddy/soft textures. I would assume the former wouldn't be an issue on Xbox/PC and the latter is somewhat masked by the art style. A shame that there is no true definitive version with the S enhancements and original graphics but don't let that stop you from playing it. Absolutely fantastic JRPG.I've got the Steam version, I think this one has some content not on there? Could be wrong.
In any case, DQ on Xbox (Game Pass even) is great to see
So it’s not a firestarter twisted firestarter? This thing is quiet as fuck. The real test will be RDR2 though - that thing made my 1X sound like it was gonna take off.
So it’s not a firestarter twisted firestarter?
Fairly sure it's still "wednesday" in parts of the world as i type.Big interview with Phil Spencer in here confirms more studio acquisitions are on the cards, is curiously wearing Sega blue socks
It took a few minutes for mine to populate. While I'm over the moon with the X I'm a bit pissed off at 3/4 of my games don't show up when i connect my external drives. There's possibly 160 missing but when I connect back up to my One X they are all there working. Any Ideas Or anyone have the same problem? I don't have the fastest internet either.
So I just tested Skyrim loading into various places across the map, and it loads in literal seconds. Framerate also seems far more stable than it was after the initial 4k update, but I don't know if that was fixed before the Series X was released. That’s really good to hear thanks.
No it wasn’t well for me there was lots of slowdown, made me stop playing it this is really great news thanks again. So I just tested Skyrim loading into various places across the map, and it loads in literal seconds. Get my Series X tomorrow. So excited. Disappointed I did not snag a PS5.
Question for you all- what is the best 32" or smaller monitor to take advantage of all the Series X capabilities?
