I hope these games get patched with higher res and 60 fps. I do not think these patches will be free. MS had the right idea for these upgrades with the Smart Delivery system, but once Nintendo saw how Sony was fleecing their customers, they wanted a piece of that upgrade patch fee pie.

I haven't played XC3 dlc yet as I sold my Switch OLED before it was released, I want to replay XC3 then play FR on Switch 2 but jeez it doesn't look so hot right now

Future Redeemed is peak Xenoblade. The payoff is massive if you've played Xenoblade 1 & 2.

With the first and 2nd game being on the Switch, Future Redeemed should have been the main story capping off the trilogy, allowing for the story in the 3rd game to be its own thing later (Like X)

Future Connect is not payed expansion like Torna and Future Redeemed….it just free extra chapter in XCDE, it's same as Ch 13 in XCXDE.

Of course it was, Monolith Soft worked hard on those expansion to make it worth the money…..you shouldn't expect same type of quality on free extra chapter.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If Future Redeemed is a sneak peak of the systems in place for Xenoblade 4 or whatever it's called, we're in for a hell of a game.

just guessing but I presume the next big game is that action rpg with one piece of concept art that's been posted everywhere for a decade, surely the powerful new hardware means its time to bust that out

the question is though will it be a XC3 style reveal where it's unveiled shortly before release? Imagine if it came out this year

This is my position as well, specially Xenoblade games have atrocious IQ so they're in more desperate need of an upgrade
