please no url in the OT and something that does not completely looks like an inside joke if we want to "invite" people to discover this great game!

Some probe locations have minable resources listed on them. Put a mining probe on it and wait for it to give you some.

The Xe-dom on one of the tiny floating islands in Primordia.

Found him, killed him, then realized I misread what part I needed/had! I scrolled over the Crest and saw 0 owned which I knew was strange, haha.

But he's easy enough for me to kill a few times more and farm out the crests.

Man I get like a million credits in a couple of minutes, lol.

Guys, where the hell is Kuta's Cargo? It's meant to be near some "huge thing" in sylvalum but I just can't find it for the life of me. There's nothing near the zu pharg or whatever either.

16 hours in and I'm having quite the adventure.

Just got into Noctilum and holy crap these environments. On top of the soundtrack I am in love with the art direction of this game.

So I outfitted my free skell with a bunch of dope weapons but why is it so weak? I think I could be killing monsters faster on foot.

I also dont understand cockpit mode. I went into it a few times but nothing happens? Also how does binding work? I binded enemies but no one attacks them while binded.

Gotta learn Skell combat now, just when I got comfortable with foot combat.

Skells in vehicle mode are awful to control.

For the
Definian Downfall
quest I spent an hour looking for keys (turns out of one of them drops from an enemy
guarding the small tunnel you take to get one of the other keys
while the other two are lying around) and it turned out I can't beat the quest anyway as my ground play sucks. Thanks
Rexoskell
. I might switch from Knife/Raygun into Knife/Assault rifle (or whatever one has the TP skill that gives your allies TP...bring a party member with that art too and it is overdrive fun for all).

spent an hour inside Devil's Colony

there has to be a secret passage to at least 1 more yellow treasure I see it far beyond the walls tried climbing up not dice

someone spoiler tag the answer for me
It is probably not in that area at all but somewhere outside. The chest radar has a tendency to do things like that.

Man that giant enemy in Sylvalum can fuck right off. Son of a bitch is there EVERYTIME I get in my Skell
+
You'll have to be more specific, that applies to a few different enemies in that area.
Most likely Xe-Dom.

You can go to a new zone from the beginning. Every region has low level and high level sections and intermingling spots, well except Cauldros.
Cauldros have some low level spots like a part on the west coast.

Anyone know which Xe-dom drops the Black Crest? I somehow have 5 in my inventory but have no recollection of how I acquired them (nor does my bestiary apparently).
Looks like it is the
primordia or oblivia
one. At least those drop a Jet Black crest.

The free Skell is level 20, while the ones you can buy are level 30. It's worth upgrading as soon as you can afford to.

Cockpit mode instantly recharges all your arts, and you're invincible (but can't move) for the duration.

Huh. This was unexpected.

Spoilers for a Normal Quest...

There have been some dark sidequests, but this one that I got in a Blade camp in Sylvalum was just odd.

You go from a friendly hunting competition with a cast of weird characters, like a spoiled girl type that treats everyone as servants, an overconfident newbie, a commander that has less presence than another girl in the team... to a stolen icecream case... to half of them being killed, and the spoiled girl being butchered and torn in pieces by Prone while her friend watched.

I wonder if there'd be a different ending if I had chosen to deliver the materials rather than run after the stolen ice cream...

H.B totally reminds me of Aizen. Got the looks and I can totally see him going "According to plan" behind me.

Nah. Have you played his 2nd affinity quest?
He goes from cheesy arrogant guy to cheesy heroic speeches once his "cool" facade falls.

On the other hand, going by his Heart to Heart,
he seemingly does want to replace Vadham.

Because it's level 20. The best weapon for the initial skells is big back beam sword, I think.

Cockpit mode gives you temporary invincibility and makes all of your art active again.

I think most of us Pressed L+A to turn off Miiverse.

Doesn't turning that off turn off all messages though? I don't mind squad messages, I just don't like the looped ones sent out to everybody.

I don't mind being like "hey anyone up for some squad missions" or whatever. Or just chats like "hey how are people doing this evening."

Probably does but I am that pompous asshole who doesn't need teammates. :p

I turned off all messages right away lol...

there were way too many messages when I first started the game, maybe if there are fewer now it won't be so bad

He is overpowered for his level in that he has like 10x the hp. I beat him with evasion spec'd skells. Once you have like 300 evasion you can't be touched except for stuff 15 levels higher then you.

Gbusters get too much praise. Too much fuel, too long a cooldown. Can't spec a mech effectively toward gravity

Slap some beam mods on your mech and go with XXsnipers. You'll do similar damage, at range, w/ half the cooldown, plus you can go beam crazy across your entire arsenal (beam back weapons, beam sidearms, etc).

An Amudias spec'd with beam on most weapons + armor opens for like ~150k with an XX sniper.

Okay, I'll give it another shot. By the way, which beam weapons would you recommend?

Stupid Cats how am I suppose to know what the stupid bird's attack is get both your bothers killed and it only took me one hit to kill it

Ah gotcha. Forgot to check the Skell's level. I'm lvl 25 now and I was planning to grind till 30 anyways so I'll upgrade my Skell then. Maybe give this one away to one of my party members.

I also realized the lvl. 23 monster I faced was a Tyrant which is probably why it took a while to kill him. I barely took any damage however. I'm steamrolling through lvl 30 monsters and getting some decent exp as well so woo hoo!

What's a great class to use in chapter 11?

I'm still at the beginning of the doorway where you enter the Ganglion stronghold. I'm at lvl 50 now, same goes for Elma and Lin; I have my best set-up available and I'm still not progressong. The Marnuck soldiers are really hard to handle and they always find a way to kill me just before I kill them. And when I succeed, there's a tyrant right after two waves of troops. Yay.

Worst mission ever?

Skell License Proficiency Exam 5. 3 items in a cave only in early morning and when it's raining. Even when manipulating the time and fast travel it's still a gigantic pain in the ass and completely unnecessary.

Sooooooo, is it just me or is Galactic Knight's damage output fucking unreal?

I've been messing around and if I hit shit with Secondary Cooldown Melee Arts Combos I can take down shit WAY above my level. I've been messing up random mobs and then started taking out people I haven't been using so I'm at like Level 23 and they're at 13 and defeating Level 27 monsters almost by myself and getting them to level almost every fight. Every time I hit with a 3 Arts Melee Combo I'm doing over 5000 damage easy.

I love to rock climb in this game. There are a lot of huge rocks that look like you wouldn't be able to get to the top of them, so figuring out how to get up there with your character (without a skell) is extremely gratifying.

Also, with the right camera settings, this game can be extremely immersive just walking around everywhere. I really want to play this in VR!

Yup, definitely. More often than not, it's possible to scale a lot of seemingly impossible cliffs, making it just a matter of approaching the obstacle from the correct angle. The density of the world can make this a lot harder than it seems, though...

It's really giving Skyrim a run for it's money in this department. I can't think of an open world game with more enjoyable traversal; it just feels right.

Finally getting around to clearing out the story. Chapter 11 was quite enjoyable in that respect. The bosses were bullshit but that's been so frequently the case there's a good chance I'm just terrible at the game. But between the ground boss who sat out of melee range and rained death on my melee build and the skell boss who was just flat out immune to damage for a while, I wasn't super thrilled with the encounters. Loved the reasoning behind
Lao's
actions though.

Even though I wasn't in any kind of danger during that fight, the boss fight of Chapter 10 is intense as hell.

Although... is the only point of this chapter to give us
closure of Ryyz and her big guy?

Also, YES! Finally, the level 50 skells are available. Guess I'm not starting Chapter 11 until I have a full squad of level 50s.
