Since it's 900p I expected a little higher FPS?
I hope Ubi has learned a lesson here. Stop showing bullshit 'target render' gameplay trailers.
I hope The Divison won't be going through this same nonsense.
I'm sorry, but i'm confused. We hate EA for some reason (always online or something), we hate ubisoft because their games are unoptimized or all the same or something and we hate activision because of cod. Who do we like?
The average last-gen "AAA" title ran with bad IQ at 1280x720 and 30 FPS (hopefully). Now, you want 1920x1080 at 60 FPS. That's 4.5 times as many rendered pixels. However, people also want better IQ, better graphical effects, better lighting, and more detailed assets in their "next gen" games. But if you make each pixel just 4 times more expensive to render (which isn't really all that much) the new consoles would already have to be 18 times more powerful than the previous ones to maintain 1080p60. They aren't, not by a long shot.I'm not a tech-head, but can someone please clarify to me why these new consoles aren't able to handle recent, even older games at 1080p and 60fps? Or in this case, even 1080p @ 30fps? Is it because of hardware limitation or because of the developer? If the PS4 can't run this game or Tomb Raider in 1080p and 60fps... I dunno, it just feels to me like both consoles aren't as "good" as they've been touted. The PS4 does have good architecture from what I know, but I fail to see why it can't run a game like this or the aforementioned Tomb Raider better than it does.
I'm assuming many factors are at play here and I apologize in advance for any possible ill-informed comments that I may have just made, it just seems a little weird to me that the PS4 for example is struggling to run recent games at optimal settings. I'm asking because it seems like I should be lowering my expectations and standards from these consoles.
I am actually surprised by the number of people whose purchase intent seems based on things like resolution as much as the quality of the game itself. I'd expect this sort of reaction in a review thread, not so much a resolution announcement.
Damn Watch_Dogs can't catch a break it seams.
Poor person who put that up probably got a right rollicking or maybe worse.

900p vs 792p? The gap is shrinking guys!
Have you seen infamous or are we pretending that doesn't exist?People need to stop expecting their $400 console to be as powerful as $800 gaming PC's.
It's a different engine, and not cross-gen. I wouldn't assume anything.Safe to assume Division isn't going to look that good or at 1080p I guess :b
So it's true. Watch_Dogs 1080p/60FPS would actually melt a PS4
Hey look the resolution is less.
This really ruins the game for me and I am now out. I will put my money elsewhere, because I can tell the difference between 1080p and 900p and it really bothers me.
I am out.
This.
I mean, if you have a PC that is powerful enough to run this game better then more power to ya, and I understand the comparison between the two consoles when the one that runs it at a lower res is still more expensive and you're better off getting the PS4 version if you have both consoles, or if you have neither console you're better off buying a PS4 due to its superior performance.. But to skip a game altogether just because it doesn't hit 1080p on either console is beyond the pale IMO.
People here are insane. 720p and 30 is more than good enough.
What exactly does WD do to push the limits so much they can't hit Full HD 30fps? Cause I don't think I have seen anything THAT impressive for a single player game.
Haha I love how everyone is making a big deal out of this. How about playing games for the gameplay and the fun? You know, like everyone else does and how its always been before this generation
Confirmed: Ubisoft's engineers have absolutely no fucking idea what they're doing.
Have you seen infamous or are we pretending that doesn't exist?
lol some actually believed it was going to be 1080p 60fps on ps4.
