But it IS a jump in quality, as we'll no doubt see once the last gen versions are shown. Theres a lot more going on in the game other than graphics, and those things cost resources.
Still day 1.
How the Hell can FFXIV run at 1080p/ 30FPS with all sorts of particle-effects, latency calls and whatever other technological hurtles online games have and none of these shitastic "next-gen" games can?
Unbelievable. And inexcusable.
Give me:
price of PC that can run this game at 1080p & 60fps.

price of PC that can run this game at 900p & 60fps.

Thank you.
Aren't Strider and ASM 2 720p as well?
It's actually 1440p at 60fps!I don't understand it. Child of Light is also an Ubisoft title and that hit 1080p on PS4.
Maybe the Watch Dogs team should get some technical fellows from CoL to help out with the pixels.
It's funny, but nothing to freak out over.
For anyone thinking they'll do better on PC, remember they already released the specs for Ultra and I doubt most of us could handle it.
Surely they can patch it right like they did with Assassin's Creed Black Flag when they are shipped with 900p.
If my pre-order wasn't $39, I would cancel it.
. They've designed a game where you're basically hacking everything around you, accessing people's private information in a variety of ways, manipulating the environment around you in all sorts of fun ways. They've got an interesting mechanic where players can invade the games of other players and try to hack their info.
.
900p and 1080p is a marginal difference and it's not a shooter so 30 FPS is not biggie.
Given that the bugs come from abysmal programmers, I disagree. Get better programmers, have less technical issues, have less bugs related to code.
They have literally zero excuse for that kind of performance - open world or otherwise. What we've seen from gameplay videos already shows a massive decrease in the visual quality of the game compared to what we originally saw years ago. After seeing a game like Infamous perform the way it does, to say this is a disappointment is an understatement.
Ubisoft literally could not have handled the entire production of this game worse than they have. It's impossible. And the way they write it off as "Framerate and resolution are just numbers" is incredibly lazy and goes to show how little their programmers really know.
Had the game preordered on PS4. Hate to say it (and it's the first time I've said it,) but preorder cancelled. I'll wait for it to go on sale on PC. And consider all my hype for The Division completely lost.
This...seriously point to one open world game that gets about 30 frames...they don't exist
Wanna bump this man.Give me:

Hey, what if the game is good and none of this matters?
Still counts for the MP then.
What's this 792P thing about? There's got to be an explanation as to why developers keep settling on it. Is there some math that allows a 792P frame to get multisample AA in a 32MB framebuffer?
I mean, my PC will handle it on ultra...barely...according to the specs. I'm still going to get it on PS4 instead though.Good thing they're adjustable settings, not like the PS4 version is running Ultra ethier.
So PC Master Race people, curious as to how many of you are rocking this to get 1080p/60fps:
-Intel Core i7-3930K/AMD FX-9370
-Latest DirectX 11 graphics card with 2 GB Video RAM or more (Nvidia GTX 670/AMD Radeon HD 7970)
Because yeah. Not everyone has that. An i7 is recommended.

Disagree, I think it makes environments or locations feel more alive or realistic.
We're getting closer to my "We'll end up back at 720p/30fps by the end of the gen." prediction from about four years ago.
I was getting "worried" we might not make it. Thankfully Ubisoft is here to save the day.
