probably more like 30/100,000 - 200,000 chance given so me people contribute lots of points, but yeah, it is unnecessary
At the end of each day - I remember seeing a list earlier of the games that were given out from the winners' wishlists.
End of the day.
The power of "oh, these games are the cheapest, I'll vote for them."

OK. I'll admit that the last one was a good choice, with Deus Ex HR and Fallout NV. But it might be the only good one picked so far.
It's actually less than that as only people who contributed points have a chance at the prize.
There are multiple way to earn points greater than one and there is no cap on amount of points someone wins in a day.
I agree, this is the first time the metagame has just felt dirty and gross. I'm completely disinterested in what's going on around it this time around.
Shadowrun was a great one too. I was able to get Dragonfall cheap.

Yes.
The game was patched but I don't know if it moved the game to a newer build of the engine. Said patch was in development for almost a year, though, so you'd presume so.
