It's much better than Armageddon.

Guerrilla is an open world sandbox of destruction.

I started Guerilla (and so I have 10G achievement and can't get it off my gamercard) but I played some and got stuck right away. I don't know if I just didn't understand how to play it or what. But now it's on my card forever so I'm inclined to at least play it some more for some achievements eventually.

Most likely not the best place to ask, but a quick search hasn't really helped unless I commit necromancy, but I have a question about Live accounts.

I'm in the UK, and want to download the Flixter app on my secondary Xbox in the bedroom so my GF can watch our Ultraviolet collection. This app is only available in the US. From what I've seen online, it's possible to download this app with a US account and then any account on the Xbox can use it quite happily.

Is it possible that my Xbox or live accounts could be banned by doing this? I know downloading other region games can result in banning, but does this extend to apps too?

Pain in the arse really, as the only other way for us to get it on the TV is by plugging in her laptop, which means she'll have a hell of a time using the laptop whilst having something on in the background, and Flixter seems to be the only choice to use Ultraviolet accounts in the UK. We'd much prefer to use the perfectly good xbox already plugged in.

Nothing for me. Cross posted..

Playing Banjo-Kazooie for the first time, unsurprisingly its a fun game

But it wears out its welcome. Call me crazy, but the game just goes on for way too long. There are also some very frustrating sections later on, not at all helped by the wonky camera, and also some really convoluted puzzles. I'm currently wrapping up the last world before the final Gruntilda sections. I like the game, but it's showing its age, and I'm not talking about the technical aspects.

The camera is frustrating as is navigating at times. The Clanker level and getting him unlocked by swimming through the key at the bottom cost me about 3 lives.

Im playing through it though and enjoying it. If I get stuck I have the wikia up because if I get stuck and don't know how to proceed I will just put it down and I don't want to do that - its only a last resort though

I actually got it free with pre-ordering Nuts and Bolts (which I haven't played :P) and I don't own Banjo-Tooie so I may go straight to N&B after this if I decide I want more

I would imagine it's kind of like Kameo in that respect.

Just be aware that Nuts & Bolts is its own kettle of fish, while having some similarities to the first two games. I'm firmly convinced most of the hate it receives aren't complaints about the game itself, but rather what it isn't (a platformer like the first two games).

Well, Kameo is also showing its age in some ways, but I found it a much more enjoyable game (I first played it a year or so ago). It's still one of my last gen favorites.

Just finished Kameo last night, and it was the longest 9 hours of gaming I've played in long time....... the controls were so terribad. Plus the old style gaming of "get hit, pause and lose control for two seconds" every single time. Ugh.

Definitely. If a game like this was released on Steam today (with different characters), everybody would be raving about it.

Fair enough, I think I might like that I can always get Banjo Tooie if I really want more Banjo old style

Im in the Rusty Bucket Bay so not far from the end I think? Enjoying it quite a lot. Some frustrations with the camera and swimming but apart from that good fun

The choice of control mapping was odd, but I can't say I've had any serious issues with either the controls or the gameplay. It gets perhaps a bit too hectic near the end (and so does BK), but remains manageable. Oh well...

I finished BK last night, including those bullshit jigsaw puzzles. It was fun, but I'm kind of glad it's behind me now.

it's just not intuitive. When you have to use a first person perspective to shoot something, half the time it faces you the wrong way and it takes forever to turn around in first person view. So you'll probably die from a boss just trying to turn to shoot them. Also when you get hit it often turns you around to face that direction, which throws off a lot of actions. Ugh. Just not a fan.

Game is so worth it. Rebought during the sale just for the convenience of digital.

Best game in the RF series. :)

1) You can download and run the app.
2) You won't get banned.
3) If the app itself does an IP or region check, you're SoL.

I played some more Abyss Odyssey the other day and man is that game hard. The controls do feel a bit wonky, but as a whole, the game looks and performs pretty well. It's like Metroid and Castlevania had a baby with Street Fighter IV (moves can be cancelled into other moves).

You've got loot that you collect e.g. swords, accessories, journal pages, and consumables. The floors range from Easy to Hard and the mid boss battles are incredibly cheap/unfair since they love to cheese. I really love the art style in this game as it reminds me of Ayane Kojima work in the Castlevania series but fused with ACE Team's signature art style.

Like other ACE Team games, the gameplay isn't its strongest point but their art direction/music is amazing. They're truly an imaginative development team; I would love to own a design works book if they throw one out some day since I absolutely love their art style as an artist/art student. Maybe I should make an OT for this game since needs to be shown some love; surely I can't be the only person who bought it day one.

Speaking of World of Tanks 360... what a bloody brilliant game that is!
Content updates every month, new achievements added periodically, free giveaways, etc.
That is the right way to do F2P.
Same can be said for Happy Wars.

Asura's Wrath is a damn good game from what I played of it so far and I bought it at that price along with one piece of DLC last time it was on sale last time. If you want a game that's super over-the-top, doesn't require much thinking in terms of game play, and look at some sweet art work, look no further. In fact, I made a LTTP thread so if anyone who checks it out is welcome to follow along and post your thoughts in that thread.

I might check out Remember Me at that price some time later this week even though my wallet is super tight for another couple of days. Can't go wrong at 10 bucks. Emphasis on the might since I'm sure it'll be much cheaper than that in a future sale. Not really interested in triple dipping on Resident Evil 4 nor any of the other games that are on sale. If DmC was $10, I would've bit.

My backlog will cry... I'm tempted by Asura's Wrath already (I have it go on and off my radar, today is an "on" day ^^).
I'm not sure what to do with the DMC collection. I loved Bayonetta, but didn't like the original DMC back then (disliked the fixed cameras and obscure puzzles "the door is locked, where do I go now ?"). N°2 has a bad rep and n°3 a great one..

Oooooh, might have to finally bring some Asura's Wrath into my life.

BTW Street Fighter 3: Third Strike is best Street Fighter. Worth the pennies it'll cost.

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record
Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara
Dustforce

All damn good deals that are extremely tempting. My wallet won't be too happy about it if I splurge on this sale and my backlog will only continue to grow. D&D in particular interests me.

If you haven't played Asura's Wrath yet, you should grab it, cause it's probably the best anime game you'll ever play (shame the DLC isn't on sale though)
