Just boot up VLC, go to /g/, and wait for the gorillion of mirrors that always crop up."Live streaming video requires Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later"

Performance benchmarks are pointless. And now we get to the spec list portion of today's festivities.
I understand concerns with RAM and how aggressively Safari will refresh, but the rest...meh. As with almost every other release, the phone will come out, the display will look great and the performance benchmarks will blow away just about every other phone out there.
Upgrade. iPhone 4 won't be supported by iOS 8.
ThanksJust boot up VLC, go to /g/, and wait for the gorillion of mirrors that always crop up.
It looks like WR before the NTH.
That doesn't compare to the other two part numbers.
That second last letter certainly doesn't compare to an L. It's something new.
Yeah that was another thing I should've mentioned, I hate being locked out of OS upgrades and the fact that my iPad would be running iOS 8 while my 4 would have iOS 7 would be irritating. Thanks!
Nope only 4s had 4gAt this point, even a 5s will seem like a massive upgrade for you. I'm trying to remember the specs of the 4 but I don't think it even had 4G/LTE capability. Also, iOS7 was limited visually on the 4. I would definitely upgrade to the 6 if I were you.
Nope only 4s had 4g
Nope, the iPhone 5 and later models have LTE/4G.Nope only 4s had 4g
so what do we think's in the big white building? I'm going with a fitness/home kit/nfc demo area for the wearable.
It IS going to be a huge step up for the people that matter: 5 owners and older.I am super excited for this event, but I really need the 6 to be a huge step up. Some of the rumors sound promising, others (RAM) not so much.
Performance benchmarks are pointless.
I just a phone that will let me surf the web in peace. To switch between apps easily. None of this refreshing crap. It's so frustrating and I've lost work because of it.
It's really the iPad that would get that boost from more ram. The fact that I can actually multitask on my Nexus 7 with ease is huge. The Nvidia Tablet has really closed the gap in performance next to the iPad and it's at a good price. Just not sure if its battery efficient as a Qualcomm snapdragon 805 though.
That would be so sad.Stage for U2.

This is not for the 5S owner:
It didn't say LTEWrong, LTE came with the iPhone 5.

1GB of RAM. In 2014. What the fuck are they doing?
U2 rumor mill is getting a lot of activity again. I expect something U2 to happen in one form or the other. At this point I'd be surprised if they weren't there.
Cue salt.
It would be the saddest thing ever. That would be so sad.
ohh! Will we get iOS 8 today? Will be my first iPhone software update.
This is your first?!?!?!?I've never watched an apple keynote live so this will be fun.
Still only a rumour or possibly on one model. Still holding out hope for 2GB.
The GM (final release) will be available to devs today. You won't need a dev account to install it, so if you can find a copy you can update.
Will they be streaming somehow to iOS as well as OSX?

Does it scroll like butter?I'm rocking 1GB Ram currently on a 5S. Phone is smooth as butter!!

I miss Steve at times...

The Apple iWatch will come with a clever way to tell the time.
Users will know when it's midday because thats when it runs out of charge

Lol maybe but don't expect much. LTE is now overcrowded in some areas and you can get better speeds dropping down to HSPA+.Coming from a 4S on AT&T, am I going to see a giant speed increase when I get an iPhone 6 on mobile data networks? From a quick Google it looks pretty significant.
