iPhone 6
£539 - 16GB ($867)
£619 - 64GB ($995)
£699 - 128GB ($1125)

iPhone 6 Plus
£619 - 16GB ($995)
£699 - 64GB ($1125)
£789 - 128GB ($1270)

Just so you guys can see how badly the UK gets ripped off I've put the equivalent US price. So for example, £539 is $867. Bear in mind the UK prices include 20% tax and yes this is off contract.

What was the 5S price?

£549 at launch.

Holy shit

I am off contract with Verizon and don't want to sign a new one. Does Apple.com preordering normally do a good job of allowing you to purchase the phone off contract?

God help me, I want that watch. I know it's stupid, but I just can't help myself.

Give in

I want this thing to hug my wrist forever

Same for me. I'm just glad the 6+ isn't some crazy improvement with more ram and everything.

I agree.

I was on the fence in getting the Plus model, but I can't afford 899€ for the 64gb model, so I will consider getting the regular iPhone 6 model in 16gb or 64gb, it will be a decent upgrade coming from an iPhone 4 since 4 years ago

Meh. Very disappointed.

They kept the same ugly bands on the back of the 6/6+

720p and the gimped camera/battery on the 4.7 is a huge disappointment.

I guess I'm going to have to get the Plus but not looking forward to the size.

iWatch is a joke. The square screen and UI elements just seem very Android-like and is an even bigger disappointment than the iPhone.

I was expecting big things this year but they really dropped the ball. Getting a Plus to get away from Android regardless though.

You mean were there crappy tablets that tried to be something they were not and resulted in a lousy user experience? Yes. There were.

There are smart watches now, but they're comparable to tablet PCs pre-iPad. They're shit to use and of minimal value.

I don't know if this Apple Watch will fall into the same boat yet. I think it's clearly a far cry better than what Samsung at least is trying to poop out. At least in terms of usability and experience, the Apple Watch seems clearly ahead of the game. We have to wait for actual impressions to start coming in though.

What exactly is the Apple Watch doing that puts it ahead of the game? To me it looks like another take of what Android Wear or Samsung's older Galaxy Gear watches already do.

There was nothing like the iPad on the market at the time of its reveal, a mobile device with a large screen. iPad actually created the mobile tablet market. The tablets you're referring to are touchscreen laptops, they still exist and they're not the same thing.

Yeah, I'm really concerned about the battery life. It will probably a few more years until it can be really thin and have a long ass battery.

Anyone on the fence between the 6 and the 6+ really should just go for the 6+. You are going to want that 1080p screen over just barely over 720p.
The screen resolution is the least of my concerns. I only care about the camera and RAM. If these are identical, I'd rather buy a smaller phone than a phablet sized one.

Yeah I was wondering whether it was such an obvious thing it needed to be that they didn't even feel the need to mention it.

Or

that it's actually not waterproof and therefore pretty fucking useless.

They mentioned that a lot of the components are waterproof/resistant so I imagine it is as a whole.

Can someone explain to me what the iWatch does, exactly? Besides tell time, I mean. Does it do apps and stuff? Can't you just do all of that already on the iPhone? What's the point of having the iWatch if you just have to have your iPhone with you anyway?

Nice and affordable....

I lol'd.

it seems like they wanna screw us with this 16 gb shit. i mean wtf why would you offer 16 gigs and then 64? it absolutely makes no sense for me, because they know 16 gigs is way too little, so obviously everyone will buy the bigger (in terms of memory) phone.

And whats up with the sizes?! 6+ seems so much better because battery life and hd screen...

will most probably buy the 64gigs iphone 6, as the + is fuckin huge

phones are solid but nothing to make me come back from Android....but that watch, yikes after all the hype and thats what they come out with. Looks like a samsung watch to be honest, much prefer the Moto 360

I'm at work and reading through tweets, but have they said when the pre-order starts for the 6? Or if they're even having a pre-order this time.
