I just got my first Exotic weapon bounty, but I don't have an exotic weapon yet. If i complete this bounty will I receive one?

No. You just have a chance for one to drop from the event itself, or when you go to the postmaster afterward.

Just started this today.
With a Hunter (because he gets swords ... swords are cool).
So far so good. Had a blast playing with some friends for a few hours. I guess I'm still way to early to feel any repetition, but even doing the same missions I already did during the alpha was fun

Also stare at that radar. Everyone loves to slide shotgun, melee or fusion around corners. When you see radar near a hall or a doorway there is no reason to speed in there unless you think you can win that exchange.
If you see radar approaching a control point, back off of it. So many people blindly rocket or super right onto the point. I've killed so many surprised people as they dart in there and waste there super on nothing (or on a less cautious teammate)
Lastly, memorize heavy weapon positions. This is the part that's like old school halo in away in controlling power weapons. If you get heavy ammo and some rockets you will have to kill somebody. Those kills will feed your super which leads to more kills. When you hear the announcer say heavy ammo is coming, book it to the spawn point immediately so you can get it right on spawn. When my team loses it's almost always cuz the other team just doin a good job getting that ammo way more than us
Did you level it up to unlock all it's abilities?
I just got mine yesterday and haven't used it yet -- I figure I'll just randomly dump XP into it as often as I can and then start trying it out once I've unlocked both it's unique upgrades.
It's complete trash, and the auto fire seems to continually jam for some reason.
Keep the gun. It's confirmed by Bungie to get a buff soon.

Got a mic, a level 28 Warlock, and two Titans (one a Striker and one a Defender) which can gear up to level 27 at the moment, working on getting that gear to level 28.
It is incredibly painful if you are not level 28.

Also, people should buy 11 rifles, so they have one available to complete the recharge phase. I had a clan member get delayed because he dismantled all fusion rifles and the gunsmith wasn't selling one at the time. PEACE.

I tried it out in patrol mode and even then it was disappointing. Why couldn't it be good? It's legit hard to get along with Thorn. Meanwhile you can get the best shit going afk in Crucible.
It looks badass though.

I would upgrade mine if I didn't need the XP for my Hawkmoon. Exotic weapons take forever to level up.
I'm not great in PvP but I managed it in 3 games. I even went negative in 2 of those games but still got it. I have no idea how this game calculates stuff.
Yes, you will get a specific exotic weapon depending on the bounty. I googled them when I had to make a choice of which one to accept and there are sites that will tell you the weapon and the basic steps you'll need to go through to complete the bounty. Some of them are much harder than others.

Not fully upgraded. The clip is too small is the biggest issue. 15 rounds only. And low stability, so you will miss a lot, thus reload a lot.
There is the instant reload after kill ability. But it does not help when you need 2 clips to kill anything.
Again this is an EXOTIC. And it takes 25 strikes plus 20 some pvp games to unlock.

Yep .. really interested in how they play on buffing this. Needs a bigger clip and more damage for starters.

Needs to be a proper pulse rifle stats wise like Red Death. They went way overboard trying to tune for its main ability.

Really looking forward to it, even as a lvl 27. Gonna have to break out my legendary scout rifle I guess, don't think my rare AR will do the trick. This is going to be interesting!
Huh. Just like the Queen's Bounties, you can only get 2 armour pieces and not a full set. I'd have thought Bungie'd have done something unique for the helmets as well. I'm at least glad for those Colour Shaders though, they look nice.

I'm going to get my arse handed to me in iron banner, but the drops were almost always legendary in the beta...
Exotic fusion rifle bounty.
Hoping that the Iron Banner gear when maxed will give 30 light (same as exotic and Raid gear)
Raid RNG keeps fucking me and I want to get to level 30!

It's one of the steps for the Pocket Infinity FR exotic: dismantle 10 rare fusion rifles. Incredibly frustrating if you aren't getting the drops.

Is the nightfall doable with 2 people or is it recommended to get 3? Would really like to get this done but have tried 3x and died each time on last boss

very doable with two. Have one at each cheese spot and you'll be fine.
Looking forward to Iron Banner even though I'll probably get stomped.
I really hope the gear is better than my Crucible gear. There would be little point to playing otherwise.
Should be fun though, PVP is my thing. On the Queen's event I did read that re-opening the game gives you a new set of bounties. Can you do that for this one aswell? I often PVP when I already ran out of bounties, it would help me.
