How fast do you level iron banner? Is this going to be a drag trying to get a competent team for points?

To get to rank 1 it said 100 rep points. If you win a match that's 25 IB rep. Bungie could troll us and make rank 2 an insane amount. Like 2,000 rep points.

I have a Aethon's Epilogue with Void damage, in general (not this nightfall), does it do the same damage as kinetic to say a Solar Shield? That is, am I penalized for using the wrong element?

I actually think that if there is a difference, it is very minimal. You don't get penalised much, just heavily rewarding for using the correct one,

Only Solar shield is a Shank afaik in Nightfall.

But yeah, you are penalised like normal, but since your penalised weapon does 3x damage in Nightfall you're still super strong.

The problem with PVP isn't the guns as much but the lag. I just had trouble killing level 15's with a fully upgraded Legendary scout rifle and auto.

Multiple Blizzard games are usually down almost every Tuesday for huge chunks of the day. Welcome to my personal hell where I'm off Tuesdays and Diablo is often down for like 6-8 hours.

Had my fill of Askor today, 2 nightfalls and 2 weeklies done and more coins than I'll ever need (plus a few useful things).

This might be the easiest nightfall yet. Definitely gonna solo it on my alts this week after i get my driveclub fix.

It's definitely not. Even in the cheese spot, you can be stealth vandal sniped and 1-hit-killed. Not saying it's impossible, far from it, but there are risks and those enemies before and after you release Aksor are not to be taken lightly.

Yeah Iron Banner should be their PvP equivalent of Raids to attain level 30 gear.

WoW did it with their PvP. The gear acquired would be the same "gear level" (their version of Light) as the Raid gear, but with upgrades focused on Crucible/PvP.

They really dropped the ball on that. Not everyone wants to raid.

Question on Burn modifiers:

If an enemy is Solar shielded, Solar deals extra damage. With a Solar Burn modifier, would Solar weapon damage to them be further amplified beyond their original weakness?

I'm asking because this week all burns are active. If I hit a Void-shielded Minotaur with a Solar weapon, it will deal extra damage because of Solar Burn. But if I were to use a Void weapon, would it be the same? Or would it deal even more damage (burn+weakness)?

This week's nightfall has Minotaurs (Void), Hobgoblins/Shanks (Solar), Captains (Arc) and I wanna know if any element will be the same against them all or if I have to re equip for different segments.

Please tell me a time when everyone is asleep. Please. Remember this game has many players in America...and Europe...and Asia.

If you were to use a Void weapon on Minotaurs, it would do considerably more damage. I one-shot Minotaurs with the rocket launcher Unfriendly Giant.

I like it. It has a 22 round mag which can suck but if you're careful with your shots and can manage the recoil you'll do alright. There are upgrades for increased mag size or increased stability. Go for the stability and learn to make all your shots on a target head shots.

I still love Hard Light (AR) its amazing, finally fully upgraded. Now to upgrade red death. I havent heard much talk about Hard light I wonder if it hasnt been found as often as the others or if it just hasnt been available for purchase yet. ?

Iron Banner is a direct equivalent to the Queen's events. Gear upgrades are worthless if you're above 28, forces you to grind the same types as regular mode, and above all, matchmaking in Destiny is a joke and teams of 3+ people will always steamroll since they force you to play control.

When are we going to get some real new content...even a new game type would've been nice.

I'm hating this crucible grind to 3...feels like it's taking forever. And the Vanguard grind to 2 sucks, been maxed out on marks for weeks.
