I didn't like Amular at all. Dragon Age 2 is a game that I actually recently finished but really grew tired of pretty fast. DAO is a great starting point if you want to get Inquisition.

I figure this is the best place to ask as any.

I have an Asian 360, but recently moved my Live account to the U.S. for Xbox One Games with Gold. I guess I'm on the U.S. store on 360 as well, but trying to buy Burnout Revenge gives me a This game is not available on consoles in your region.

According to Playasia's compatibility list, the U.S. Disc version of Revenge won't work on Asian systems. I figure that's the problem, because I've bought other GoD for 360 since the region switch.

Is there anything I can do to get Burnout? Is moving my account back to Singapore to buy it and switching back after feasible/recommended?

Yep that is the issue. GoD versions pretty much always share the same region restrictions as the retail release.

Unless something has changed recently, you can only switch your account region every three months so if you did switch back, you'd be stuck in en-SG for that period on the 360. I've no idea how that would affect the Xbox One GwG offerings but the Singaporean page lists the same games being available at the moment.

If you didn't want to dick about you could try and find a one month gold code and buy it with a new SG account then just play on you main account.

Cheers, appreciate the help. I'm tempted to just switch back and pick up Burnout now. Would there be any issues with playing it if I switched back to US 3 months after that?

And honestly I can't remember why it was that I switched to US in the first place! Especially with the One being region free. God the 360's region locking was a mess, why does it apply digitally as well!

No, it will work normally if you switch back. As long as the hardware and game region coding match, it doesn't matter what region the account is.

The SG store seems to have fewer titles so you might miss out on a GwG title over that period (no idea if there is a way to be a dodgy bugger with other regions GwG titles). It's up to you. I'm always cautious with things like this since there's a lot of £$¥ associated and the possibility of something fucking up or some unexpected issue like region coding cropping up that would make a short term move questionable. If you still play your 360 a lot then it might make sense, if you don't and you only play the odd game then it might not ultimately be worth it.

Thanks very much for the help. I'm hesitant too but given the region lock I'll never be able to find a physical copy of Revenge anywhere, no stores here would carry it anymore. One to mull over. Cheers!

The online pass for Alice Madness Returns (which gives a download of the original Alice) was made free about a year ago, so $5 for two games is a good deal.

Alright quick question guys, I recently went to buy the digital version of Forza Horizon 2 on my ONE and saw I was going to be charged tax so I said fuck that. I've never been charged tax on my 360, why the ONE? I'm curious if using a gift card, since I've never been charged tax in store on those, would also be taxed with a digital purchase? If so I'm not buying digital on ONE as the only reason I do it is to save $5.

It pisses me off though because I've downloaded tons of stuff on my PS4 and never been charged tax. In fact, usually the regular price is even lowered a few bucks due to me being a PS+ member. It's just little things like this that make me want to give my business to Sony rather than M$. Any explanations would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I know everyone says it depends on the state but why just MS then? Sony and Apple don't charge me tax on digital purchases when I use the PS Store or iTunes.

$5 for a terrible game and then a decent one which unfortunately outstays its welcome horribly by being way, waaaaay too slow and long.

Zombie Driver and Amy, two of the absolute worst games on the service. Scare your friends this Hallowe'en by secretly downloading them to their consoles when they're out of the room.

Is Season 2 any good? I haven't really heard anything about it at all which seems odd when compared to ridiculous amount of press and GotY chat surrounding the first.

Episode 4 of Season 2 lowers the value of the entire package. It's pretty terrible (just episode 4). Meandering story that goes nowhere interesting, and a couple of decisions that are immediately useless. I don't mind too much about no player agency in Walking Dead. But episode 4 has a couple of moments that almost immediately disqualify the weight of a decision moments after it's made. Usually it takes a full season before a decision's non-impact is unveiled - like, you make a decision, and 3 episodes later you say "Hmmmph, looks like things would have unfolded the same - oh well." I don't mind the lack of player agency but I like the illusion of player agency, at the very least.

All the other episodes are stellar and stack up with the original season 1 quite well. I can say I whole-heartedly loved episodes 1, 2, 3, and 5. They each have a theme or event that resonates strongly with me. Like, you know everyone can say, episode 4 of Season One was the
Crawford
episode? You could say something like that for everything in Season Two, except its god awful episode 4.

Costume Quest 2 - 15$, 748MB.

I ended up giving Costume Quest 1 a 2.5/5 but I'd still recommend it. It's such a cute and light-hearted game. I love the idea of just playing as a bunch of kids dressing up for Halloween. The battle system is the weak point - I hate battle arenas and I hate turn-based battles (in other words, I hate almost all JRPGs, heh). I'll get the XB1 version of this game for the 1000 gamerscore (
don't hurt me Vert
).

Costume Quest's a fun way to while away a couple of hours, but by no means should that be taken to imply that it's a good game, because it's not. It's just a reasonably amusing, incredibly easy, stress-free experience. A chill-out game.

Apparently the sequel is worse.

I still haven't played Sonic 4: Episode 2, I still don't think I even want too after playing the original part on Wii.

Probably only a really really cheap deal could get me to bite at this point, the fact that they're still trying to get 600 space bucks for it is not that deal lol.

Considering Sonic Generations is infinitely a better game and only a little bit more.... haha piss off Sega.
