to be quite honest, it sounds like you need to quit acting like a dumbass in her family's house. If this and the stairs thing are your strikes, those are two. You only get three. Fly right, it isn't that hard.

but you don't understand. let me explain.
her family is BIG on alcohol. her dad loves and mom love it; they drink it all the time. they also share with me their wines and beers and scotch and have me try new drinks cause GENERALLY they like me. I've been buzzed with them before. but tonight i guess i didn't know when the inhibition would fail me.

okay. well to others i'll try going to bed, even though i've been refreshing this page every 5 seconds lol. I'l SEE if being sober helps me tomorrow. i'm only expecting a headache and an angry girlfriend but we'll see.

What a coincidence, I just read through you're other thread. At least this isn't as bad.

My first thought is you shouldn't have gotten drunk around them after what happened only two months ago or so. Just apologize tomorrow from your behavior and move on.

I find fake drunk threads really sad. It's amazing how well his totally wasted spelling improves in 20 minutes.

Okay. Sir, I am many things, but one thing I am not is a fake. You can call me an idiot or a dumbass or a kid and have some justification behind it--even though I'll disagree--but what you have no place calling me is fake. Mind you, I typically care a lot about proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Do you even see that Oxford comma there? After the first few posts of people pointing out my spelling mistakes, I made sure to spell-check before posting.

I <3 you too, brotha. We all make drunken mistakes, both on GAF and when announcing loudly to a married couple that you want to put your peen-willy into their daughter

Everything is impermanent, my friend -- one day you will lose the ability or will to post on GAF, and likewise one day you will also lose your relationship with your gf. Keeping in mind that all of this is a temporary situation anyway, no need to feel stressed :D

OP, yeah, it is fucking embarrassing. But on the brighter side, you seem to have a good relationship to your gf family and everything you have done is kinda normal and light hearted and pretty much shows that you and your gf have a healthy relationship. Just make it up to them and be extra helpful and nice the next weeks.
 
Just apologize at some point over the weekend nonchalantly. It's likely that they'll understand and in no time you're GF will forget about it or tell it as a funny story at work.
