Wow, what the hell happened to Castlevania LOS2? I haven't been following this game, but a 58 on Metacritic? Is it really that bad? I thought the first one was pretty decent? I skipped the first one entirely on the PS3, was hoping the first one would be cheaper on Steam.

Shadowrun Returns is €2,99 (-80% off) until December 2nd. Great gameplay and great story. I highly recommend that one. 😊

From what I recall when it released the majority of the complaints were centered around the modern day sections being awful and full of instant fail mandatory stealth sections where you have to play as a rat.

Priced glitched on shadow warrior in UK store at 90% off, got it for £2.99 ( around 4.75 dollars)

Bargain

EDIT: the percentage keeps changing from 75% to 90% ? whats the actual price drop ?

Got Kerbal Space Program. Not sure if it's a daily or if the store glitched out on me. I already had it in my cart since yesterday and was just waiting to see if it'll be a daily. It shows as -25% at 20.99 € but when I went to my cart I got a notification that the price had changed since yesterday and it was now 16.79 €.

fake edit: it just updated to 40%.

For someone who knows literally nothing about Naruto, how would it hold up purely from a gameplay perspective?

Damnit I want Shadow of Mordor but that sale isn't that great. And Amazon has it for $20 but I don't have a CD drive on my computer. And their download code is the same price as steam. Guess I'll wait till Winter Sale

No need for a disc, the case will have a Steam key.

$8 for Castlevania 2?

Is that game not good?

It's okay.
If you liked the first one, you should play the second one especially at this price. The combat is still fun and the caste sections are pretty alright. The stealth complaints are overblown like everything on the internet.

If you didn't like the first one, don't play the second one.

These devs needs to learn that action hack and slash games don't need filler sections, like stealth or whatever. I'm playing Bayonetta 2 right now, it's action from start to finish and it's awesome. Still kinda interested in the first LOS, but I doubt they'll go cheaper...

LoS1 is $5 on Nuuvem: http://www.nuuvem.com.br/produto/1340-castlevania-lords-of-shadow-ultimate-edition

Shadow Warrior is a must grab at that $4 (90% off) price, no?

Heck yes. Game is a ton of fun.

It's kind of hard to say. have you ever played games such as Dragon ball z games ?

Naruto games are hard to get a grasp of and are not deep fighters or complicated by any stretch of the imagination, but there really just spectical fighters.

Honestly even at that price i find it hard to recommend to someone who knows nothing about the series as the main selling point of the game is the story mode and it's incredible cutscenes

To the point where I shouldn't even buy it in a Steam sale if I loved the first one? I want to bite, but...

Here's my thoughts:
- The game came out in February
- It's currently November
- Why didn't you buy the game in February? March? April? June? July? August? September? October?
- I don't think it's possible to have a coherent reason why you were able to successfully wait 10 months, and now "have to have it".
- The game hasn't had an MSRP reduction, and despite the high percentage off still costs a relatively high amount. It will certainly be cheaper in the future.
- The developer are not working on subsequent Castlevania games, if there are any, so you're not doing anyone a favour by "keeping support alive"
- No one here is giving you positive feedback about the game's qualities as a game.

I did.

Anyone have experience playing Shadowrun Returns on a laptop with integrated graphics(HD 4000)?

I've been doing a lot of travelling by train lately and this seems like the kind of game that'd pass the time in well.

Pretty much my thoughts. I'll consider biting if/when it gets absolutely dirt-cheap (like, $2.50 or less).

This thread should be renamed to "Exploitation Sale".

DayZ, Running with Rifles, and who knows what else we missed are all raising their prices and then discounting them for the original price because they are reaching that point in early access where raising the price is needed.

Kind of disgusted with the scamming people are trying to do lately. I can only imagine sales in the future, devs just raising the price right before the sale so they can get seen on the frontpage and maximize profits.

How is Grim Dawn? I realize it's in Alpha but is the core game good? I'm skeptical because I never see anyone talking about and the long development since the kick started finished. Is this worth the buy or wait and see?

Styx at 22$ is a must buy for anyone that like stealth action games with amazing characters and level design. Don't pass this one up! One of my Goty, scratches that metal gear itch so hard lol.

Grim dawn is a pass for now in my opinion. It's been a month or two since I played it, and while the game is enjoyable it's missing the magic sauce that makes it go from an interesting experience into a must buy. To elaborate a bit, I'd say that the skill trees are interesting and have potential, but they haven't gotten the A part of the ARPG right yet, so you should def wait and see how development progresses before jumping in.

Pretty tempted by the GMG Wolfenstein deal. I've been reading about fps problems (random drops) on AMD videocards, is this still an issue and can I expect to run the game fine on a Radeon 7950 Boost?

Can anyone give feedback on Shadow of Mordor's DLC? I really enjoyed the base game and beat it last month. Is the season pass worth $17 or would there be a possibility for a better deal during the Winter sale?

I finally have Wolfenstein. Fantastic.

Love GMG for that, glad I held out on TEW yesterday as well
