Joseph is the GOAT, Jojos come and go after generations but none can surpass Joseph's wits, humor, batlle analysis capabilities and above all and his most important skill: hid buffoonery
The secret technique of family Joestar will always be passed down to every generation. Joseph really made Part 2 along with how over the top yet serious at the same time it was. Not to mention the epic posing that him and Caesar are known for. Part 1 got me interested and kept my attention, but Part 2 made me a fan easily and Part 3 is keeping me interested and curious. This is a good "hidden" franchise that not many people (or at least I) didn't know about it.

Jotaro will always remain number 1 in my heart. I think I like Jonathan more than most people though.
Jonathan will always be an honorable gentleman. Got his ass kicked for a woman he didn't even know. Not because he wanted to get laid, but because it was the honorable thing to do. I've gotten used to Jotaro, behind the scenes he's a nice guy. I just didn't like how he called his mom a bitch. Oh my god this is hilarious:

Welp personally, I think part 1 is almost bad, the plot is to simplistic (except the ending), the fights were basic shonen fights and characters are really forgettable except Dio. When I saw this, I wonder how Jojo was so popular... And then Battle Tendency came and I understood why it's awesome.

Joseph is probably my favorite anime / manga main character and Sugita's makes him even more likeable.

Really my favorite trait of Jotaro are his many ridiculous attempts at badass quips. "That's a nice watch, too bad you won't be able tell time once I break it. BREAK YOUR FACE THAT IS."

He's just acting like any teenager would. He is obviously spoiled and takes advantage of being his mom's only kid :P He's coming of age throughout this part though.

Yeah he's toning it down since the beginning which is why I've gotten a lot more used to him. I wonder how he'll be acting in the second half of Part 3. I like how he's the stoic guy in control. Out of that group I like Him, Kakyoin and Joseph the most.

I don't like how they nerfed Joseph going from Part 2 to Part 3. Not just in terms of power by giving him such a crap stand, but also removing him of his Battle Tendency cleverness and ability to overcome tremendous odds with a combination of coincidence and ability to read the situation better than anyone else. You'd think his experience would be reflected certain times he had the chance to show it off in Stardust Crusaders, though I guess this Part isn't over yet.

He was pretty creative with the Empress stand, but I get what you mean. I guess he's a bit of a senile old man now and is there for comic relief. I guess he's like a badass grandpa simpson now.

I think the point is that he's a crazy old man now who thinks he can still do things like his younger days. It makes sense for the character. In 2 he would a lot of time get lucky or overestimate his ability and its carrying over when he's older. He doesn't realize that he's going senile and that he just can't keep up anymore. He still has the same attitude that he had in 2.

Oh
Stroheim's
not even done yet. Joseph is not Jonathan and he's even more awesome for it. Keep watching I can't wait to see your reactions on certain things. Once that part climaxed I couldn't stop watching it.

Must be the work of an enemy Stand.

Welp, that was pretty heroic from Stroheim,
the suicide explosion
.

And i thought vampires were OP as fuck, but Pillars Men are a whole other level lol.

I hated Jotaro at the beginning after having Joseph I just couldn't believe that spoiled brat's attitude, I mean the way he treats his own mother, his "I am the most badass in town " behaviour, I hated him, but I warmed up to him, he gets better little by little probably because all the things he goes through along the journey and the camaraderie he develops with his new friends, heck, Jotaro and Kakyoin are amazing friends yet so different in personalities that if it wasn't for the incredible circumstances that brought them together, I can't see them becoming friends if it wasn't for that, that's how insufferable Jotaro was at the beginning, he changed but still he'll never surpass Joseph in my heart as the greatest Jojo ever.

I can't wait to see how the other later Jojo's act. Jotaro's not the best at first impressions and he does come off as arrogant. I didn't exactly hate the beginning of Stardust Crusaders, but it does feel different coming off of Battle Tendency. It takes a little bit for the chemistry to come together on that one. I'm not sure if the Stand of the week formula hurt it, but it does feel pretty predictable especially since most of the stand guys outside of Hol Horse, J Geil, Steely Dan and that crazy old lady...and I guess Nena so far actually come across as villains. Others just seem like their doing it for the money...yeah that baby too as well can burn in hell. I guess it just lacks a cohesive villain tying it all together with Dio going like "look how sexy my back is" to the audience.

Feel that Part 3 is pretty fair to Joseph. He gets to shine multiple times, he is just not the main hero, but the group leader.

Jotaro was always just putting up a front to look hard anyway. It's established pretty early he's just embarrassed of being such a momma's boy
Yeah. He lightens that act when he was speaking to his grandmother. It nice seeing him actually not turn the act on and you could tell he was restraining himself from that.

I can't believe how much influence that manga has had on everything. How Araki isn't getting money from Street Fighter sales is beyond me.

Capcom probably told Araki that they will pay him royalties as soon as he starts paying royalties to all the groups and antists he takes his names from (oh snap!!!)

Not sure of that, but Benimaru was called Polnareff when SNK was making KoF.
It's something I've heard many times from different places throughout the years, the inspirations from many Capcom characters come from Araki's work, no doubt about that.

How Steely Dan hasn't sued the shit out of him is beyond me. I love the references though, I find it quite funny. I laughed my ass off at the Pillar Man names. The fact that some muscular Aztec vampire is named after George Michaels' group was hilarious.

Benimaru even had exactly the same outfit as Polnareff in the beginning too, before they slightly tweaked it for his later appearances. Also, he fights with electricity, which resembles how the Ripple is usually drawn. So, he's basically a Ripple using Polnareff.

IIRC, some of his alt colors even give him white hair.

Man this is fascinating. I know Juri is based off of somebody as well. I wonder if there's a Caesar clone somewhere.

Esidisi is his most clever use of a band name. It gets worse in later parts where he straight up doesn't give a fuck. Japan copyright law is pretty lax so he's able to get away with it.

I just call him AC/DC, screw it. I loved Cars too since I actually really like that group. And the lax copyright law explains why he isn't too busy tied up in IP infringement suits to write his manga. Also explains why Crunchy Roll is making damn sure to change their names...Dan of Steel cracked me up. I'm honestly surprised they kept Red Stone of Aja in there.

Dan of Steel is the best

Funny thing is, with the Japanese pronunciation the names kind of sound real, for me, the pillar men will always be called Kars, Eisidisi and Wammu.
