I thought it was Brian Cox initially as well, but I don't think it is after watching again.

And the dude doing the narrating is Johnny's dad, you see him once, maybe twice in the trailer. Oh, not a bad trailer!

So ... is there any random Ultimate universe where it has the "dangerous and alternate universe" right off the bat ?

Hmmm, not terrible.

Also, I'm guessing Johnny and Sue aren't siblings in this one? Or have they addressed that?

Sue is adopted. I think the guy from House of Cards is their dad.

I don't get why Miles Teller isn't Dr. Doom, he has the face of an asshole.

I mean

Maybe I'd understand what's so "alright" about the trailer if I knew what the fuck was going on.

You could replace the Fantastic 4 logo at the end with a logo for any other original IP and it'd still be as interchangeable and make little to no sense. This isn't a bad trailer as much as it's a completely boring one that says nothing about the movie.

All the posters complaining of their age I guess would need to look toward Ultimate Fantastic Four to see where they're drawing that from.

Only Doom spamming Foot dives can save this film.

Good trailer, but I can't help but think of this thing as an anachronism. A super hero movie that looks like it doesn't want to be one. They don't make those anymore, and I'm kind of glad they don't. That being said it's not impossible for someone who loves the source material to come along and "reboot" it as their own thing. That's the kind of history of comics anyways.

There are so many comic book movies coming out, fatigue is going to set in soon. It looks like this movie is at least doing something different, colour me interested.

Nice visuals, doesn't look terrible. Kinda sick of the last few superhero trailers (both AoU trailers*, Ant-Man, and now this) taking themselves far too seriously, though.

*not counting the extended one with the party scene

Fox is doing the same thing with Xmen, get a young cast on the cheap and milk them for franchises.

so far this looks better than the last FF

Seemed more like a teaser for a new X-Men movie than the Fantastic Four. Really bland teaser, with nothing to get hyped about. This is 2015. Really need to see something other than a quick second of Johnny Storm getting his flame on to get me interested in superhero flick; especially one that's made such a negative impression on me so far.

What is coming?
The ANSWERS!

The answer is..the Fantastic 4 were DESTINED to become the Fantastic 4.
Everything and everyone in every movie leads back to a prophecy.

I liked it! And the voice over actor is that older black dude in the trailer. He's a great actor! He's the rib man in House of Cards.

It's true though. Somehow managed to look more expensive than The Avengers.

The Iron Man films and Cap 2, as well as Guardians, all looked better, but that's based strictly on a teaser.

Honestly wish it was more in tone with X-Men, but going from that teaser it's even darker than that.
