People should stop obsessing on the graphical side of FFXV, the game looks good enough. They've improved, and will continue to improve. Give them some credit for the work already done, some of that is hard and under-appreciated enough already.

Good question. Not only do I not see a single chest anywhere, the map does not contain any watch towers or sync points. This worries me. I'm starting to wonder if this game even has enough collectibles to keep its players satisfied.

If you ask me, this game could learn a thing or two about open world development from Assassin's Creed.

This is a game in a modern setting, with cars and mechanics and whatnot. Why would there be random medieval style chests laying around in fields?

I'd honestly be really disappointed if the game went that route.

Again, they are still so far away from release. This isn't going to be like FFXIII where the demo was released 7-8 months before the final game and there was barely any upgrades done to it.

All billboarded grass looks bad if you really look at it in my opinion. There's just so much of it that it looks okay in motion, but I always keep seeing the invisible bounding box of the grass plane.

It's not just today, it's GAF in general. "Downgrade" talk is the norm, it's fairly disgusting. In the last month I think I've seen downgrade threads about Uncharted, The Witcher 3, Bloodborne, The Order, Persona 5, Rise of the Tomb Raider, MGS5 and now FFXV. It's only getting worse.

People got it in their heads waaaay back when it and XIII were announced that XIII was "the bad one" and this was the good one, because Nomura was attached. Never mind the development hell it went through. Never mind the fact that Nomura's worked on some pretty bad games. XIII was the "bad one" and this was the good one. It had to be this way.

You do realize it was because of the mishandling of XIII and XIV that this game was on the back burner for many years, right?

Even in the XIII series,I was surprised to find out that majority of outfit and character designs are not by Nomura.

I think he mostly does the faces or outfits for select characters.

It's not a Nintendo game aimed at young children, nor has any mainline Final Fantasy been aimed at a young market.

In less than 15 seconds you can find the weirdest, most fucked up, explicit porn in existence thanks to the Internet, I hardly think a bit of skin, a glance of boob and partly visible underwear will be getting anyones heart racing.

Beside the fact there are several almost naked characters throughout the Final Fantasy series, this is very tame and nothing new.

Was it necessary? I don't think I have the right to debate that because I'd rather leave a creative mind to create what they envision, not moan about what they have created or how they should follow some set rule book of how to attempt to please everyone.

I don't know how game developers who read forums and fan sites aren't on suicide watch with the things people complain about, it's literally never ending.

Opinions obviously differ, but I think a creative project should be allowed to be created without restrictions and to the original vision, not designed by committee.

Especially in a fantasy genre, and especially in a medium such as games where 99% of what you do, is something you cannot do in life for various reasons.

I think I've found the root of the issue. Clearly, you dislike me.
