Who is this loser? Shit taste. If he wants to listen to some "catchy choruses", he should go listen to some Katy Perry or Justin Bieber.
this album is great... songs like Momma make me want a collab with Madlib
The last part of Momma...smh why rappers do that shit?
The spitting be glorious, but they want to fade it out leaving me wanting more...
Everyones wondering who LoveDragon is; they are credited with two beats on the album (How Much A Dollar Cost and You Aint Gotta Lie). Do you know who LoveDragon is?
[Laughs] LoveDragon? You might have to talk to somebody else on that one. I keep that one up in the air for the right time for whenever that person wants to come out.
Youre only adding to the mystery here.
[Laughs] Hey, hey, Im not the one to spill the beans on it or whatever. They wanna be known, theyll be known.
rap album of the decade
That needle drop review high fucking praise indeed
To quote brain
Insert Walter White you're god damn right gif here
Sounwave interview on the creation of the album. Says they went through three phases of the album, which seems to confirm my view that Kendrick scrapped an album before moving in a drastically different direction.

Could it be Dre? Before the album came out Sounwave tweeted "track 11, Dre back" but quickly deleted it. He also is credited for this. Love that track.
Keeps you thirsty.

where is this from?
Boy I'm dumb, Before reading reviews I thought Mortal Man was Kendrick talking to his father (because of the offspring comment) and other parts didn't make sense to me. Knowing it's Tupac quotes it makes much more sense.
What's wrong with that? Not every album needs to have non-stop bangers.
LmaoooooIt makes for an album that will quickly be forgotten and it will be.

Right, unlike all those Lil Jon and Ying Yang twins albums full of club bangers. It makes for an album that will quickly be forgotten and it will be.
I think Kendrick is too self-criticizing on the album to be pretentious. He's definitely insanely talented either way.Imma say it. Been listening more and I feel like this album is a bit on the pretentious side, rather than something actually meaningful. The ending of Mortal Man in particular, felt gaudy and didn't evoke anything substantial for me.
The album's concept just doesn't feel genuine. Where as GKMC had so much soul to the album.

I swear this album feels like a Spike Lee joint. Reminds me of random screen cuts from Do The Right Thing and School Daze...
It makes for an album that will quickly be forgotten and it will be.
I'm dying
