Damn, the game looks very fun to play!! Now I'm actually not even bothering with IQ, as long they release a game that plays as good as it sounds. Am hyped now!!

trust me man, im a HUGE Halo fan (reading the books/audio books and played all the games religiously) but Battlefront was pure arcade shooter joy! were gonna have a great fall/winter with Halo 5 and SW Battlefront! id actually like MS to push up Halo 5's release date to early september or early october so the game has a decent community built by the time CoD BLOPS and Battlefront releases.

Story of my life although I do tend to prefer TP perspective for games. Really hoping the switch makes a come back and TP isn't left for dead.

you and me both, i owned it at the time for both Xbox and PS2 and had NO IDEA it had a 1st person option. this was early 2000's when i was in elementary school/middle school and wasnt internet savvy enough to go to gaming websites or forums to check further into the games i was playing lol.

They have the potential to do a very good CE and I suggest they take advantage of it. Pack in a good statue and an artbook. Sell it for $120.

Yeah, they could really capitalize off of the hype. Hopefully we'll get more than the Deluxe Editions EA seems to be so fond of.

Current PC frostbite games are already close to that level of fidelity and so far they're all cross-gen.

I really don't think the screenshot in the OP is that unreasonable to expect from consoles. It looks significantly better in that gif though, so who knows.

So I got two emails about this game. One for two different addresses.

It had a slightly different version of the cover art in it:

Aside from the missing AT-AT, the background is different. The picture is titled "Pre-reveal hero." That probably doesn't mean much though.

The sign up link within each email was unique. I have a feeling they were "exclusive" for a reason.

Correct! Star Wars hype is at a major high right now since the trailer dropped. If Dice have had trouble with Battlefield, they will likely struggle with Star Wars, even if they try to prepare.
