WHat time is it there? Still so dark :o

ANd are they already standing in the queu...? It's still 4,5 hours...

We'll see. I guess my skepticism of Star Wars has been so high since the last movie. The latest movie trailer still has me worried. JJ hasn't been great, he ruined Star Trek after all.

We'll see.

I think even without the new movie, we'd still be hyped.

I mean this is battlefront, a series that skipped an entire generation, a decade, and now finds itself being developed by the one team you'd want it to be developed by.

I suppose people should not forget about that mess and keep their hype in check.

haha yeah good luck with that. There's no way to contain hype for something like this and honestly I don't see a reason to either, let people be excited. Plus different franchises and supposedly different gameplay styles too

Was anyone keeping track of the people who said they would change their avatar, eat their own poop with sprinkles, etc if certain conditions of the game were met?

Oh, and I have no idea what it was running on..

It *might* have been a monster PC....I didn't see any button prompts to tell one way or the other, so.....

:/

Last thing.....to me, it looks better than UC4, and I am the biggest ND whore out there...

Cool! I don't know why people are so doubtful of consoles having awesome graphics. Especially when games like The Order, Ryse, Killzone, Uncharted 4, Infamous, etc. exist. Not to mention its current gen only. Even if the footage is on a PC, consoles can look quite similar too! BF4 look pretty good.

Excited for this one, but concerned about just how short the development cycle seemingly is. Based on the creative director's blog post, they were presented with the opportunity to make the game in spring 2013, so from there to wrap up Battlefield and staff up, that is very little time for a November 2015 release. Even with a mostly ready engine. I hope they just make the tough choice of dropping single player campaign and focus on just multiplayer.

There's no standard way for this working.

Also 2.5 years is a very solid amount of time for a large developer, with plenty of resources, who don't need to develop their engine, to create a fairly large game.

Engine development can take, afaik, about 12-18 months. Add that time on to this project and you've got a normal game development cycle, like 3-4 years.

I don't need to know what was seen, but if it was gameplay.

An in-engine trailer, no matter how good it looks, that might as well be CG doesn't work for me.

Also wondering this. In-engine footage is completely pointless, really hoping it's in-game footage.

Dude how many times do people have to tell you that it is not CGI?

I'll quote it again, just for you.
