Sony came into E3 with an array of nukes and just obliterated the competition. I doubt we will ever bear witness to anything like this ever again. Make sure to drink plenty of water because it's going to be pretty salty around here for a few days. At least until the shock and awe wears off. That was the "Greatest Games Lineup in PlayStation History" if you ask me. Now to cross my fingers for a Battlefront/Black Ops III bundle for the holidays and I'll be jumping in fersure.

The one thing i don't like about this conference is that it was almost too good.

So I missed the conference what with it being in the dead of night, but looking at the highlights, Sony really killed it, didn't they?

Let's be honest. One of the best E3 conferences of all time.

The Last Guardian
Shenmue III
Call of Duty DLC first
Star Wars Battlefront
Robot Dinosaurs (Horizon)
Street Fighter V (arguably the most popular fighting game)
Fuckin Final Fantasy VII remake
PS4 DLNA
Firewatch (my surprise game of the conference, looked absolutely incredible)

What more could you have possibly asked for? Sony listened to the community and delivered in troves.

I do think Xbox One has more games to play this year, but really, that was EASILY forgotten after this conference.

It was a fun conference to watch. Loved what i saw from Uncharted, The Last Guardian and Horizon. Never played FF7 or Shenmue, so thats nice for the fans(btw what kind of game is Shenmue? please enlighten your fellow gamer :) ) Knowing there is also another Ratchet and Clank coming and Persona 5, i think Sony did good ^^

That was a pretty good conference. Happy at Firewatch coming to PS4. That and Ethan Carter are games I really wanted to try out, so I'm happy they're hitting PS4. Uncharted looked phenomal. Excited for Hitman and No Man's Sky. I'll check out Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Dreams is interesting. Horizon seemed cool. DLNA and media news was great.

I have zero interest in The Last Guardian, Shemnue, or Final Fantasy.

Andrew House is cool. Layden's beard was weird.

Bad wording. "Old Fashioned" isn't the right word for it. But I really wish people would separate a game's legacy from what it becomes. When Half-Life 3 eventually gets teased/released, I hope that it will be judged on its own merits and not OMG HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED. No one spare any pleasantries when Duke Nukem Forever came out. Something being overdue and a long time coming shouldn't be a reason to raise it on a pedestal above anything else. If anything it should be under higher scrutiny.

I'd say Duke Nukem Forever was infamous, more than it was legendary and it was considered a lost oddity, not inevitable, teasing and dreamy. It also suffered from being tonally out of touch with changing times by the time it released, as well as being evidently salvaged. If you want to scrutinize something you have to first pick it up and hold it. Having no interest in something at all isn't scrutiny and critical analysis, it's just apathy.

People will go "OMG HALF-LIFE 3 CONFIRMED" while simultaneously looking at every detail from the announcement, all the way past the release, and dissect it for years to come after. You seem to believe that negative reaction is the smart reaction, when there's nothing to be negative about here. What are we supposed to be doing? Complaining about the framerate and resolution? Or just not being happy?

I haven't even fully processed that Uncharted 4 gameplay footage yet.

That alone would've been the highlight of a show in a normal E3 conference lol.

You forgot MM dream.

I can see the argument for this year and last year but next year?

yeah i kinda went overboard on that one. It should be fairly even as of right now Microsoft has quantum break and gears of war, Sony has uncharted 4 , street fighter 5, and ratchet and clank. It seems like a repeat of this year a front heavy Sony since i didn't see a releaese date window for horizon i'm assuming 2017 spring and Holiday heavy Microsoft with of couse gears and another forza.

Horizon was the only actual Sony product that really got me excited.

I love gametrailers folks. Reaction from everyone else on the other streams are all like "meh" or "I like everything lol".
First time I listened to commentary while watching a event.

It's almost sad that the yearly jokes for those three games are done now
Welcome to the new age.

I'd rather watch a GT stream any day.
They're keeping it real; friggin' amazing.

Plus:
