I was also part of the LOL Shenmue 3 people in the past years.
Even though I loved the series, the possibility was just too low with how Japanese games were slowly declining with the last generation.
Even a great series like Yakuza was, and still is, having problem.

But when I heard that one iconic music cue/note...I felt the same thing as you.

Nowhere does it say that the physical copy will be signed, so don't assume it will.

Don't see it as bragging from here. It's there to help fill in the massive 900k stretch and help reach the advanced battle goal. The idea is if people see a shorter goal to reach, they'll see it as achievable and might help to fund more.

While I think it's highly unlikely we won't see a physical release down the line, it's worth considering pledging because we don't know for sure and your money now will have a much greater effect on the development and growing YsNet as an independent studio than buying the copy in a couple years when it is released.

As what I have heard, the 3 last days of a Kickstarter campaign normally picks up, and in some cases rakes in just as much money as the first 3 days of a campaign. At least that was mentioned in this thread. Is this the case for Shenmue III so far? Because with that in mind, I did expect it to hit $6 million.

Yeah it was something I honestly neglected in my first pay-through bu there's a ton of content hidden like that in Shenmue 2

Just yesterday on the Shenmuedojo stream I learnt there is an indoor martial arts club in one of the buildings that I never knew about.
