What ever happened to the, "We never wanted his phone" stuff?

Well, first of all, just to explain to the Commissioner, describe the quarterback room. Is it kind of some secret sanctuary like the Bat Cave that only the most special people get invited in? What kind of people are in the quarterback room every day?
Q. 5 Mr. Pash see any drafts of this report before it was 6 final? 7 I don't know whether that's privileged or what. You tell me.
8 MR. NASH: I would object to the extent that

12 Okay.
13 A. I don't want to waive anything, but the answer is yes.
15 Q. He did receive drafts of the report?
16 A. Yes, sir.
17 Q. Okay Did he give you comments on the report before it was issued after seeing it either verbally or in writing?
20MR. NASH: I think the best way -- I don't want to get into --
21THE WITNESS: You guys tell me what to do.
22MR. NASH: I think there's been a ruling
23 about Mr. Wells's testimony. So to the extent that
24 they are addressing Mr. Pash's role, I think the
Every day that passes the world will be more and more convinced that this was in fact a witch hunt by the NFL.
There is no credibility to the Wells Report, anyone being objective knows that.
Kinda weird how all the people being objective also happen to be patriot fans.

I think there's a solid argument to be made that the Pats (probably) cheated and that Goodell / the NFL handled the whole situation horribly.
That's exactly the point, Elwood. The only people who really understand what's going on are those that support the Pats. Everyone else is out to get us! Free Hernandez!
Remember that rumor that the Ravens were the ones who tipped off the Colts/League?

I guess they really got pissed over that, "Study the rule book", thing.
Not sure how the kicking balls are the Pats fault, the NFL has tight control over those.
who here is objective
When you don't have all the facts and your probably not going to get them then all you have is non objective opinions. However this thread seems to be filled with mostly Pats supporters.
who here is objective
JABEE and bionic are the most objective posters on this website.
no they are not
Interesting in Brady arbitration transcript, Loren Reisner was "independent investigator", yet he was conducting cross examination for NFL.
You're never going to here an objective opinion on this. If you care enough to post you're either defending the Pats or attacking the Pats for the lols or if you're dead serious because they made your QB puke up moms spaghetti in the Superbowl.
Consider what today’s disclosures by the NFLPA contain. For instance, fans can read the how the special teams coordinator for the Ravens alerted a Colts official about his concerns about Patriots footballs. They can also learn how Colts general manager Ryan Grigson contacted NFL executive vice president Troy Vincent about the Patriots footballs, and how Vincent entrusted NFL vice president and former New York Jets executive Mike Kensil to investigate. Kensil, it should be noted, is alleged to have played a role in spreading a false story in the days following the AFC Championship Game that 11 of the Patriots 12 game balls during the AFC Championship Game were underinflated by two pounds of air. Fans can also read about how Wells’ “independent” investigation seemed anything but independent from the NFL, which according to the transcript paid Wells between $2.5 million and $3 million. In his testimony, Wells cited the attorney-client privilege between himself and the NFL in responding to questions posed by Kessler. He also admitted that NFL attorneys, including Lorin Reisner who cross-examined Brady in Brady’s appeal, assisted in the preparation of the report.
This is another nice analysis.

Brady & NFLPA Amended Counterclaim adds key new testimony from Troy Vincent admitting that policy on ball alteration wasn't given to players

Again, this is the stupidest hill for Goodell to die on.
I can't wait to see Brady sue the NFL for defamation over this (which he has a good chance of winning, due to the false report on the ball deflation levels leaked from the inside the NFL which they refused to correct or allow the Patriots to correct, among other things). Lets see how willing Goodell is to give up his cell phone and email records.
I can't believe the Patriots lost a 1st and 4th round draft pick over this. Wtf Roger.
I agree with cdyhybrid, they are refreshingly objective in all sporting events.
I know got off light for cheating.
Wow. This is turning out to he better for Brady and the NFLPA than I originally thought. I really hope Brady doesn't settle at this point.
Let Goodell take a nice smacking in court.
Goodell should be fired for his incompetence.
10 minutes into sportscenter and no mention of this story.
Where's the panel of explayers that were part of teams that repeatedly had their asses kicked by the pats talking about this case?
It's pretty fucking ridiculous that the Pats lost a 1st and 4th round over this.
It's even more so that the NFL was spreading shit about the Wells report being independent, and then not thinking someone would ask if anyone in the office got an advanced copy and actually had the ability to edit it.
