So the butterfly scene is the end of the Paz sidequest? It was all an hallucination?

solid stands for 3d not solid snake.
plus he's mentioned like twice. once verbally in tghe truth tapes and again a few times in the timeline at the end.
No, she was alive, but Max travelled back in time and killer her to save Chloe from being mauled by a tiger. So the butterfly scene is the end of the Paz sidequest? It was all an hallucination?
really? Never knew that. Why?
WHAT A TWEEEEST
Yes it is
You also get one final Paz tape if that matters
Solid as in solid objects.
So what about Metal Gear Rising?
Rising refers to the Sunny's line at the end of MGS4 about the sun rising again. It signifies that it takes place afterwards.
Still a better and more coherent plot twist than the magical surgery that changes voice height eye color race hair nature without the receiver ever suspecting a thing.

This.No its an abortion of a story. Even the bare story in this is infinitely better. 4 shits on everything the series had built up.
If you think the story in 4 is anything other than an embarrassing mess then I feel sorry for you.
Uh, have you guys even played this game? That room with all the veg is under the support platform, I have seen it nearly 100 times as the exit point on the Support Platform FOB infiltration mission is there.
Eh.... is it really less believable in a MGS world(which is pretty much fantasy land) than in MI, which is at least supposed to be a present day - near future sci-fi story.
Also it was incredibly lame compared to John Woo's one true masterpiece - Face Off.

I'm still convinced that Kojima always wanted to explain all these super powers just like they did in the X-men, but didn't want to be called a fraud since they did it first. I mean radiation and mutation always seemed like a better fit, since it ties closely to MGS' nuke core.
You mean the rail gun (I assumed that's what it was)? Sure, at some point in the battle it jumps on top of a cliff and starts shooting at you/the chopper.
You cannot upgrade the silencer on your tranq gun (aside from the infinite one) unfortunately but you can upgrade your assault rifle/sniper rifle silencers by researching the first assault rifle with medium durability suppressor. Lemme check... it's the level 4 AM MRS-4. You can then outfit your other weapons in the same category with it.
And yes, D-Walker is amazing against the Skulls. I S-ranked both the Metallic Archaea missions with it.
This.
That said, it is not the worst game ever, it's the worst in the series.

I don't play that FOB shit lmao
MGS4 was great for one chapter, in the middle east. Then it started tanking in the second chapter but still held alright. After that, it was just a rushed game made to be stretched as much as possible so we wouldn't feel half the game is missing. The whole design of chapter 3 was horrible, you just walk and have a chase. Chapter 4 had a Gekkou and those dumb balls, and the level was really tiny. Chapter 5 is a straight hallway.
The boss fights were alright, but I always knew the whole open world approach would work better. Heck, the Frogs fight in MGS4 was the best, and it was kind of a cross with open world because at least you weren't stuck in a small box just dealing with patterns, you were actually fighting agile enemies, with your buddies, in a semi-open environment. That was pretty good.
But really, MGS4 is indeed the worst MGS game to me because it's like 1/5th of a game when you don't consider the cutscenes. They should have just made the whole game set in the middle east to cut down on asset production, and make the most out of that environment, add some day cycle to it to vary the way the battlefield is, etc, done.
I don't agree. It felt like hell of a ride.
you traveled a lot, the story had a beginning middle and end.
I enjoy replaying MGS 4.
I am never gonna replay MGS 5 despite it having a great gameplay. Funny heh ?
In terms of "games" i'm sure MGS 5 is the best out of them all.
And yet my most hated one. There are games that are more than just pure gameplay. With games like life is strange i thought this was obvious.
Metal Gear Solid 2 also had quite an awful amount of down time. Still a great game.
I still dont get why this game has almost no boss fights.
Awesome boss fights have been a series staple for so long.
To just throw it all away...mind boggling.

MGS2 is fine, it's an actual game even if it has a lot of cutscenes. I don't mind cutscenes, unless they are used to stretch a short cut game. MGS2 is MGS1 and MG2 and MG1, it plays like a game. MGS4 doesn't, past the second chapter. From there onward it plays like a paint-by-the-numbers book, the "gameplay" is there just for you to finish the story.
So i just finished it. I think.
Mission 46 is the TRUE ending right? Because i haven´t nearly done everything in the game like i heard you need to, to unlock it. Anyway.
I kinda thought that the Big Boss you play might not actually be the real one, but with the parasite shit and that psycho kid materializing thoughts and emotions, the game convinced me the whole time, that Ishmael is just the materialized will of Big Boss to survive. Guess i got played like a, hmmmm, like a... can´t think of it.
Also, i don´t want to do the rest of the game anyway since Quiet is gone now
Also those truth tapes you get at the end.
- Zero put Snake into the hospital. Snake hears that from Ocelot and is like k. And hops onto his bike.
- Like everyone talked to Zero, like, sup, let´s talk. I thought he was supposed to be hard to get a hold of. Whatever
Great game, disappointing Metal Gear game and the real Big Boss never really became a villain. Neither did the fake one.
Also did i miss something or did Liquid just fuck off with the Sahelanthropus and they didn´t resolve anything about that? Like, oh, bye. Never seeing you again.
Time to watch the gametrailers spoiler podcast.
Yeah but no.
The only far fetched thing in Mission Impossible, is how easy they can produce masks. Not the fact that they can make convincing disguises. Make up artists can make almost anybody look like anybody they want.
The cut chapter 51 seems to be another fistful of awful. Liquid is such a waste in this game. Such a waste.
To be fair, it's Ocelot that tells you that Zero is almost impossible to find. (He is obviously lying)
The Eli resolution is the cut 51 "Lord of the flies" mission. You can see footage of it on youtube.
