So I preordered TTK for 39.99 and when I start the game up it says I can't watch the cinematic intro because I haven't purchased it. I checked forums and it seems other people are having this issue as well. I tried restoring licenses and even deleting and redownloading the game. Nothing works :/

Anyone have a group and would be willing to take me through the Raids on hard/Skolas? I've been trying to get my friends together to do this for weeks now but everyone is always busy, and I'm the only one who cares about getting the Moments of Triumph completed. Those are the only three I'm missing.

Disclosure: I'm not a fantastic player, I have little experience with the raids. My group made it to the end of Vault of Glass once a few months ago but we started late, some had to bail during the boss, and we couldn't compensate for the smaller fire team. We weren't able to get back together before the weekly reset. I've never touched Crota's End, and I did the level 34 PoE earlier this week, but haven't attempted Skolas.

I've mostly played the game solo, and haven't done a lot of crucible. I don't have great gear, but I'm a level 34 Warlock with 166-168 light.

If anyone is willing and able to help I'd appreciate it!

One of the oldest bugs in the game; it's been around since the Alpha. I haven't encountered it much recently though so it sucks to see it pop up there of all places.

The Taken King is essentially a massive reset -- everyone has to get new gear and new weapons, so beyond learning the game and taking 8-10 hours to level up you really aren't all that behind.

That aside, all you have to do is hop into the Undying Mind strike. There are plenty of opportunities to generate orbs on there.

I've done it today. I've changed the date in my PS4 to be able to play alone. Then I've played the Devil's Lair strike, gone to the Steppes and have killed the 3 hive ultras with a Nova Bomb three times. After that, I've finished the strike

Because they aren't really quests, they might as well be Bounties. How is generating 25 super orbs in anyway fulfilling or exciting.

Yea that's a bounty. The quests i'm used to would be more along the lines of:

-Recover a specific item from specific enemy type (almost like the patrol beacons but more involved)
-Complete 10 strikes level 18 or above
-Clear X story mission using nothing but melee attacks
-Defeat 100 level 15 or above enemies with special weapons

And of course, the rewards have to be proportionate to what you're doing. I wouldn't do any of the above for a rare chest piece.

Yeah well I'm leveling a Warlock fresh. Only have access to the first two. Will try farming it on Devil's as suggested. Is there any way to just do these solo on XB1?

unless bungie changed something this is how it's been from when I used to play, this also effected the changes to engram behavior back when a purple could still give you a blue or green item, only new engrams after the patch would be a garenteed purple.

Yeah I entered a code in a friend in the US gave me, and it only said it was for the XP boost. No mention of the quest.

The Taken King in-game quest will become available on 9/15/2015 to users who own the Taken King. If you have activated a Red Bull code on your Bungie.net account, you will have unlimited access to this quest, when it is available.

The undying mind strike I got 7 orbs 4 times, plus a 6 so it's easy if you plan, obsidian mind and bad juju, almost constant super.

Well I started Tuesday, Thursday and tonight did the raid for the first time in my life......so it's pretty easy, especially with how nice the GAF members are at helping you out. It will be even easier come TTK when the dang strike playlists actually give gear too

Strangers is only good for pvp at this point.
