fuck this castle fight with a passion

Here's a tip for the queen: there's a partially bricked up window next to a doorway that you can shoot her through without fear of retaliation (as the spit attack won't make it through the window). The only thing you'll have to worry about are occasional hatchlings.

Has anyone already found this place?

Anyone know the population limit at settlements? I would love Sanctuary to have 50+ people by the end. I only have 11 right now.

I didn't intend on getting it but my friend bought it for my birthday. I played through it yesterday. Did the first couple of missions and completely disliked it.

In a strange twist though, of the 12 hours I've put into the game, I've put 8 into playing Red Menace. That alone makes the game worth owning. Better than the game itself.

holy shit
WAS NOT WORTH IT WAS NOT WORTH IT AAAA

THAT THING

Mi
relurk queen

What in the hell have I done
I have killed 2 at this point..but that first time..

I felt like i'd never played a fallout game in my life, talk about born again virgin..that thing had its way with all my 3000 parts.

How do I use the Stealth Boy?
I already found two, but can't find them in my inventory.

"Because they're stealthy, hence the name" is not a proper answer..

Looks like you can unlock some craft for your base :o

Also, how often do you guys see Legendary enemies ? I've put the difficulty to hard but I didn't see even one :/

I started out on Survival, after level 5, I've seen no end of the fuckers, I'm literally running in terror at a third of the fights I get into.

Once I was wandering through the city center, and a friggin Legendary Glowing Radscorpian popped out of the ground, nearly had a heart attack haha.. it was level 33! I was 11..

So I was in a shelter somewhere and a deathclaw fell from the roof and literally ripped my head off....I think I should level up a bit before returning...

That mascot head is awesome 😁

Love this game so far, I'm doing the mission with paladin danse right now. I'm always overincumbered, I need to buy that house in Diamond City so I can have a place to throw these heavy weapons I can't use due to lack of ammo. There's no way I'm leaving the first fat man I found on the ground.
Are you making sure you transfer all of your junk inventory into your workbench? When I started doing that after every few missions it made a massive difference.

I been just storing everything at red rocket.

Find the dog houses in Sanctuary. He'll be at one. Then delete all of them and make a doghouse wherever you want him to spawn.

how do you actually place a doghouse? it doesn't appear in the crafting menus as far as i can tell. and selecting a doghouse in sanctuary and "storing" it just makes it disappear forever, it doesn't seem to actually appear in the workbench.

Tips on freeing up space that sometimes may get overlooked:

- Old mods in the mod section can take up a lot of space, when you mod a weapon the old mod goes in your inventory
- Food that stacks, there's been times where I've had over 20 purified water, nuka colas, etc. That adds up!

Should be under Misc buildings or containers, if I remember right.

Are there backpacks?

Not that i know of. You can mod your armor to be "pocketed" and increase carrying capacity

This guy Travis on the radio is fucking terrible, I miss 3Dog or radio New Vegas bad.

Seconded. I'm a bit disappointed in the radio stations i've unlocked so far tbh, a lot of the songs were also in Fallout 3 with only a couple of new ones and the DJ is just whiny. I know it's post-apocalyptic but there has to be someone who can do a better job. I should add though I haven't even got to Diamond City yet so hopefully theres better station in the game.

Saying all that I do like the Classical station, I've had a few moments where the music synched up perfectly with my characters actions. I jsut hope I get Ride of the Valkyries one time when/if I get to buzz around in a Vertibird. that'd be perfect.

Theres a quest to improve him :V

Praise Jeebus!

For some reason I want a Fallout in Japan and you can have like laser and plasma katans and shogun looking power armor. Super Mutants would have oni getup with sci fi clubs and fight mutated giant fish monsters and whatnot. Yakuza could be part of the plot as well.

This needs to happen.

Wait so the the mod section is a list of unequipped mods? I always assumed that was a list of mods that were currently equipped on my guns. I'm sure I have a few of those lying around in my inventory.

Explore Diamond City. It's addressed - kind of cleverly if a bit clunky.

Oh thank fuck, I google'd and found a solution for Paladin Danse's bugged side-quest on GameFAQs.

After you turn in the quest "Show No Mercy", you will be able to turn the bugged quest into Lancer Captain Kells

Yup, in the mod section of the pip-boy those are the unused mods, the mods that were unequipped when you modded your weapon.

as someone who played two weeks of new vegas as an appetizer prior to this coming out i'm not sure how you can feel that way

i would rather drag my man bits through miles of broken glass than go back to NV at this point in time

New vegas plops you right out of the docs office and you are greeted with skill based dialouge checks, a sudden choice with a strong consequence and the faction system. This happens right in the very first little crappy town. The writing and voice acting in general is also way better, right from the start. The intro to this is just kinda bad, you come out and commander shepard your way through your first greetings, not even acknowledging that you just have awoken from a 200 year cryosleep basically.

Systems have been gutted, its way easy even on very hard and the writing and voice acting is immedietly medicore to bad. I hardly even want to play it.

Alot more frequently after lvl 20. Even before somewhat often. I encounter one like every 3rd fight. Playing on survival tho.

do we still dont know if those 2 brotherhood of steel quests from the police station ever end?

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha..

I totally forgot about the awareness perk!

No wonder I couldn't tell what level my enemies were and prettt much forgot there were numerical enemy levels in the first place.

Somehow I'm okay with this; wandering the wasteland there have been some harrowing fights, battles I probably should not have won at earlier levels, yet I have just been killing my way through it all..quicksaving before every battle helps alot too!

Really, just knowing they have skulls next to their name and a star with the word legendary is all i need to know to be turn the tactics up to 11.

Is there any point to holding on to them? Should I store them? Scrap them in workshop mode?

TIA.

I mean if you store them in your workbench you can use them for other similar weapons without wasting supplies. You can sell them too, usually I just store them for the hell of it.

So I learned last night that Luck probably wasn't all that great to spend alot of my points in and now I'm wanting to create a different character so I can reroll my stats, and this was my previous build

5 STR
3 PER
3 END
6 CHA (+1 from book in house)
4 INT
3 AGI
5 LUC

Pretty bad lol. I'm terrible at figuring out these builds and wondering if anyone knew a decent build in the game, I thinking of going pistols and whatever I need to do for energy weapons. Maybe Melee too, I had fun with melee in new vegas sometimes.

Get out near the yellow station. Then go to yellow station (highlight it) and hit "Crafting." It'll be docked properly.

Oh thank you very much. I found him!

Sweet thanks. I was avoiding those missions until something got sorted. Awesome.
