It's weird looking back at the original Man of Steel teaser now and then looking at this.
The tone that teaser implied is stupendously different than what's happening now.
He ain't a villain. He's serving a purpose perfectly suitable for him - a big meathead monster for Superman (and friends) to hit for the ending.Yea, but its Doomsday...
Awful villain choice.
The over the top goofball Lex persona during the Bruce Wayne/Clark Kent scene is obviously a fake public persona, so I wouldn't use that scene to judge what Eisenberg's Lex is going to be like. His other scenes show that he's more of an arrogant prick.
That Trinity shot made me laugh though.
Wonder Woman is looking really serious and Superman doesn't know what to do with his hands while Batman is lookin' scared with his rifle. All while blaring trailer music in the background as the shot lingers for a few seconds.
Whatever this movie becomes, at least I'll have Man of Steel.
People keep saying this, but i'm betting it's the opposite. Obviously the team-up was going to happen with something, so the only surprise to come out of this trailer was Doomsday being the catalyst.Did they spoil the whole movie with the trailer or its just me?
That was legitimately awful. The lines are so corny but instead of playing off it, everything has this weird dark tone.
As Man of Steel taught us
-Shitty editing with bad music placement
-Eisenberg just looks like a total miscast
-Doomsday design is awful
-Why the fuck are they spoiling Doomsday in the trailer?
-Cavill looks stiff as fuck in this trailer and gives off the appearance of a horrible Clark Kent
-Wonder Woman looks thrown into the movie haphazardly
-Did I mention how bad Doomsday looks?
-Trailer laid out the entire film
Trailer sucked any sort of hype I had for the film, right the fuck out.
I'm thinkingmay just be a minor part. I feel like he's a solid Justice League villain.DOOMSDAY

I couldn't care less about the people who already want to hate this movie. This will be so much fun.Don't read the thread.
My condolences.
Oh, people understand it. They just think it's a bad idea because it isn't a more endearing character idea then what Lex was in the first place. We have had what two years now and people still don't understand that Eisenberg was cast specifically to play a Zuckerberg type Luthor
Everyone's complaining about the lack of Spider-Man and the second a trailer drops with him in it everyone will get upset because they had the surprise ruinedLord help you guys if they show Zemo in the next Civil War trailer. "But I thought they would fight the whole movie!"
The trailer gives away too many key scenes is the problem. Of course there's gonna be a big bad villain. But you can't setup a trailer to be between Supes and Bats and then reveal Doomsday 30 seconds later as the team forms while calling the movie Batman vs Superman and expect it to work in the minds of many here.
The trailer is utterly confused about what it wants to be.
Great line. Beginning of trailer was good. Latter not so much. Agree it was badly cut, and it sort of deflated the tension. :\Batman's gonna dominate the fuck outta this movie.
"It's time you learned what it means to be a man."
He's a mindless killing machine who doesn't talk or move a plot forward. There's no depth behind him other than he wants to kill Superman. Other than his pure strength, he's about the dumbest choice they could have for Justice League. You want a character with depth and reasoning... not a walking tank.
I'm confused is this even following frank millers dark knight which pits him against superman.. Why throw in wonder woman and then drop doomsday - Which is part of the death of superman. I'm confused about all this.
Fun trailer... Not sure I follow Zacks direction.
The Batman V Superman bingo card now has spaces for:
"Not funny enough"
&
"Too funny"

Did you really watch The Social Network?
This is all making assumptions about what the key scenes are, or how the "VS" in Batman vs Superman is portrayed, from a movie nobody has seen.
Eh I appreciate the liberties they have taken considering about 60% of Marvel movie villains have been discount Lex Luthors so farOh, people understand it. They just think it's a bad idea because it isn't a more endearing character idea then what Lex was in the first place.
No, mainly because I feel like I know the whole plot already. Batman sees disaster, hates superman, meet, whip out their dicks and measuring tapes, batman dream sequence, they fight, luthor laughs evily while delivering expository dialogue, batman and superman realize they shouldn't fight/luthor does something dumb to break it up, luthor extracts secret ooze from zod and makes doomsday, they need to team up to fight him, apparently losing, batman about to die, wonder woman steps in saves batman, fight, win, justice league? yay!
That's actually the last scene of an okay movie. The rest is shit. For what? An awesome movie?

I have no reason to believe you have ANY understanding of superheroes or their arcs based off of your last post.
I'm just willing to take a ban bet over Doomsday being the entire third act/ending of the movie and using him as a vehicle to bring bats and supes together...Which that would in turn essentially give the plot away if I was correct, no?
We have had what two years now and people still don't understand that Eisenberg was cast specifically to play a Zuckerberg type Luthor
Zack? More like Hack amirite? HahahahahaWould have been perfect if it ended with Superman's "She with you?" question. Of course Snyder can't control his inner hack and had to put Batman's dumb retort "i thought she was with u???", as if the audience is braindead cluster of zombies.
Thought this was a cool shot with the mouth lighting up. This is what Batman dodges from the 2nd trailer.

Yeah I think they are just trying to win over a younger crowd with this trailer.the best scene was the bruce/clark meeting. that clown line was great.
kinda wish they just stuck with the serious tone of the other trailers, this was a bit corny. maybe it's not indicative of the final product though and they're just trying to get more butts in the seats.
