Is there a chicken shortage I'm not aware of? My grocery store had like 2 packs of thighs left, that's it...
its January, the new years resolution-er's probably bought all of january's stock. That seems more plausible.

Yep! I'm playing DOTA! Everyone should play.
kawaii as fuckfoxy gif
No, I prefer local play if anything. More to the point, I spend far more time making games than playing them these days. I'm something of a workaholic and I get anxiety if I'm not being productive.
I've never been hooked to an online game before, but I do love me some local multiplayer. Y'all should materialize in my apartment sometime.
you should get Assault Android Cactus
Yeah, I kind of thought that was the case. Whats the genre you're shooting for?
U guys are talking about video games?
Lol what a bunch of nerds

And do you have a link where I could check out your game?
Wow, this is the first time I've seen this!
I'm in love with your game's artstyle! (For some reason it brought up Hercules (the Disney animation) immediately with the main characters design)
Do you have a website for it yet or just posts in the thread I can pore over?
I'll have to check those links when I'm not 9n mobile, I look forward to seeing what you're working on.
Thanks! There's a long story regarding the art style and where it comes from, but I actually haven't ever seen Hercules. Maybe the Greco-Roman columns in that first scene help it feel that way? (it's supposed to a palatial garden at the height of an early-Victorian ish /fantasy setting)
No website yet. I haven't had time, but I want to work on it soon.
MOBAs disgust me.

if a job application wants me to write a cv and only a cv am i to assume I gotta work the standard cover letter 'tell me how you match these requirements' straight into the cv itself?
also a cv is just a resume right? because i am hella not published
Now I finally know what cv stands for.Curriculum vitae (sp) is the fancy name for a resume, I guess work the cover letter in at the start? Dunno, been a looooong time since I've had to submit one.
And yeah Lili, course I'm interested.
Now I finally know what cv stands for.
Cover letter should be about a page and built-in, as far as I know.

Your game looks awesome! Really digging the aesthetic.
How have you tackled the issue to sometimes forcing the player to engage in a fight, lilith?
Me too. I was all over RPG Maker until I realized how much effort had to go into using somebody else's templates to make a game people would never play.I wish I knew how to make a game.
It should be about respect, where you heard about the job, your intention and what you plan to do in that kind of position and how you will reach your goals and how it relates to the company you are applying to. Then your CV goes into detail about your experience and you as a person.
Yep, I'm a fan of the artistic choices being made.Your game looks awesome! Really digging the aesthetic.
You almost always want one, unless it's a super small-time job. Even something short and sweet that will convince them to look at your resume and give you the time of day.Yeah, but these suckers haven't asked for a cover letter, so I'm not sure whether to include one or not.
It depends on the situation. First, something to realize is that enemies shouldn't always have to be fought. In some games, yes, but not all. For example, it makes sense that you have to fight the enemies in Binding of Isaac. That's a game where you play it over and over and over and over, so you would quickly learn how to circle around the enemies without getting hit a lot, which just wouldn't be fun. But in something like Dark Souls, you can actually just run past most of the enemies (besides boss fights). It's just that with how easily they can kill you, it's unlikely you'll survive running past a lot of enemies until you learn their patterns.
Anyway, how have I solved it? In some places, you need to kill one of the enemies in the room to earn a key for the exit, and sometimes you also need to first fight the lesser enemies or ranged enemies who nip at you while you're working on taking out the key bearer. In other places, there will be puzzles to solve or mechanics to engage or slow terrain to traverse, so taking out the enemies will buy you the time you need. Besides that, there's also the economy to consider: fighting enemies instead of running past them will drop money, potions, weaponry and other loot.
Yeah, but these suckers haven't asked for a cover letter, so I'm not sure whether to include one or not.

Always include a cover letter
Are you in the US?
If its a position that has a lot of people gunning for it, I wouldn't include a cover letter if they don't specifically ask for one. Typically those are tossed to the side to review the actual resume. Recruiters usually rush through the resume so you'd want to make it succinct and as clear as possible. No blocks of text, keep it simple with bullet points and facts. Format is key.
These people go through myriads of resumes, the last thing they want is a lot of things to read.
Same here. Closest I'll ever come to it was when I was screwing around with Mugen in middle and high school, and that's not even close to the same as actually making a game. But I tell you what. I had the best damn crossover fighting game in existence back then!I wish I knew how to make a game.
Congrats!O man I won $7 from the powerball. It's not $1.5 bil, but i'll take it.
