Let's not forget Michael Wilkinson for his incredible costume designs.
Absolutely nailed it out of the park with the first 4, I have no idea how he's going to keep that high bar when Flash, Cyborg and Green Lantern. (please nail Flash and GL)

Henry's delivery there fuckin' sucks.
Shit.
Gonna be as uneven as MoS I reckon judging by footage shown so far. I guess spectacle and action will make it successful like MoS I doubt this is going to trouble the ranks of comic book films that are also great films.

Two things have immensely improved my opinion of the clip.
1. The idea that Superman might just be shit at intimidating people. Cavill goes from not being able to act to portraying the kind of timidity I'd expect of a good natured guy trying to tell Batman what to do.
2. And this is very likely a spoiler. Not of a major event but of the potential immediate context for the meeting in the clip (like what might have happened in the previous scene). Don't click if you don't want to know, and it's speculation so it could be wrong. I'll keep it as vague as possible, anyway. It makes so much more sense than what I assumed the reason for the meeting in the clip to be. It's a neat way of portraying Superman, and Batman's "oh, we're going to throw down when I'm ready" attitude seems appropriate. That it isn't Batman going after Superman and crashing his car into him, but Superman deciding he wants Batman to stop fighting crime and intercepting the Batmobile.

Curious how he'll handle Shazam and Black Adam if they do them. I think a robed look would work well. I liked elements of Regime Black Adam, though it's missing the iconic lightning bolt on the chest.
God please don't.Superman isn't human. He is an alien. He carries himself how he percieves humans to be. Weak and insecure. Must I post Bill's observation from Kill Bill about the subject? "Consider this mercy."? No.....

OP add this. This is the first TV Spot put together with this clip making that scene whole.

Regardless, they're going for darker vibes than Marvel, that's irrefutable. The movie having such cheesy lines and all that is going to throw off the tone and make it come across as try-hard and silly instead of... whatever other vibe they were going for. They never said "no jokes". That was an unsubstantiated rumor.

Look, I really, really wanna like this. The Dark Knight was one of my favorite movies of all time. I just recently read TDKR and loved it. I love Batman. This just doesn't look great to me.![]()
Jokes are good, just not cheesy ones.last trailer criticized for too many jokes -> back to no jokes
how does this even work anymore
Okay. This feels like a fan film from the early 2000s that was given a Hollywood budget.
Jokes are good, just not cheesy ones.
Dark is good, just not too dark.
Serious is good, just not too serious.
Got it now?

Didn't you hear mama Kent? He doesn't owe this world a thing! Next he's going to the UN to laser eye all the dictators."Consider this mercy"
Why is Supes such a dick in this universe.

Cause then who would Batman v against?"Consider this mercy"

Nope
Why has "Cheesy" become "bad" for people. Cheesy jokes are awesome if done well.
Same with darkness. And darkness combined with cheese, if done well is a great combination.
I think the marketing has been a bit of a mess, but the underlying content for the film still looks solid
Because Snyder sucks, Cavill can't act, and Affleck is overweight. Got it now?Nope

They should stop trying to save face from blowing their load too early with the last trailer by releasing shit like this and doing damage control interviews. Doesn't help their cause.
They should of just said, "This is Mercy"Lmao What kind of mentality is this? Were they supposed to not release commercials to promote the movie? Were they supposed be in interviews and say, "Yea, we have no idea what the hell we are doing. Please excuse our terrible handling of things. Don't even bother with the movie."
In all of the clips and trailers we've seen Superman looks like jerk.
Why?

Never said I didn't like Superman being mad or aggressive; that's what I was expecting from the movie! They're fighting after-all. It's just that the delivery of the line comes across as silly, not menacing. The context is important. There's nothing wrong with an angry Supes if the situation calls for it. If you really, really want to like this, then give it the benefit of the doubt.
