Plot was meh, but they nailed the character perfectly. Glad to see most of the supporting cast in place as well. I'm looking forward to the sequel, this one was a lot of fun.

My wife loved the movie, and she has no idea who Deadpool is.

Loved that action figure of Deadpool from the Wolverine movie. And the McAvoy - Stewart line. And that dig at the mansion about not having enough budget to get at least another X-man.

Went to go see it again tonight with the girlfriend, 10:00 showing and 10:30 were sold out, had to get 10:35, and I'm pretty sure that has since sold out as well

This movie is E X P L O D I N G

I enjoyed it and my gf really liked it. I didn't think we'd see that much of colossus so that was pretty fun and negasonic teenage warhead was dope as hell.

Bought tickets for a showing in 2 hours (we'll see if my "go as early as possible on a weekday to avoid everyone" strategy works like it did for Star Wars), my only regret is that I'm not helping it's strong opening weekend. Thst said, I think word of mouth is going to have a major impact on this movie so I guess I'm helping it have a strong first week?

Either way, pumped to see it and if it's good we might double dip and spring for the swanky IMAX theater... after the crowds are gone, of course.

Ok movie. Nothing world changing. Most of the humor fell flat on me. It's not like I found it childish or anything, just didn't do much. Like I could see how it's funny but meh.

The movie felt safe to me. Safe in the sense that while yeah it's deadpool, it seemed too contained. Maybe safe isn't the right word. Maybe cheap is better. The budget shows. Like now that the movie made a ton, I want to see a much bigger sequel that has the budget of like an avengers or Xmen etc

I guess the movie worked because I'm actually interested in seeing a sequel.

Side things

- Always been a fan of Reynolds since Just friends. Good to see him get a hit

- I wish the villain would've been more of a threat

- morena baccarin too beautiful

- I liked the Xmen suits. Like somebody needs to get those guys on the actual Xmen movies. I'm tired of Songers stupid black leather armors. Colossus looked great and NTW showed that a character can wear yellow and look cool( the first clas suits were garbage)

Movie was a lot of fun. Overall, pretty decent but not the amazing film some people are touting it as.

Looked good on IMAX, although there was an screen error and the theater had to restart the movie after about five minutes. Kind of annoying, but got a free ticket out of it, so a bit worth it

I saw it tonight and loved it, as did the rest of the audience judging by the reaction.

I'm impressed by the sheer rate of jokes throughout the film. Even if one doesn't quite land, there'll be another along in a few seconds. Quite a few semi-obscure references too.

Just come back from watching it on a second date with this beautiful girl. I knew I was already gonna love it, so many good laughs, the Hugh Jackman/Wolverine hate was amazing. I knew I was onto a winner when she started laughing at the love making scenes and she's got him in that position haha.

Cant believe we missed the post credits scene though, psyched for a sequel grrrr!!

Saw this earlier and enjoyed it quite a bit. One question; why do people insist on bringing their young, young, YOUNG children to something like this? The people in front of us in line literally got a free ticket for their four-year-old child, to go along with their maybe eight-year-old child. Every single employee was giving them the "are you sure about that" look, but there wasn't anything the employees could do. Just... how? How do you think "R-Rated film" is appropriate for someone who is a hair older than toddler?

Just got back from watching this movie with the girl I've been dating for 2 months and oh my god was it hilarious. She and I both loved it, right from the opening credits I knew I was going to love the shit out of this movie and I was right.

Funniest scene for me was
when Deadpool got pissed at Colossus and repeatedly broke his limbs on him.

Definitely one my top 5 superhero movies of all time.

Yeah that part had me rolling lol

Man looking forward to the sequel having a bigger budget 80 million instead of 58 million and given more characters that Fox owns to play around with, throw in a F4 character/villain, just go wild.

Dr. Doom probably has the biggest chance of being done with justice yet, in a fucking Deadpool sequel . . . That is just incredible to me.

The Wrap is reporting that out of 61 nations, "Deadpool" was number one in 60 of those nations. The only nation that didn't put "Deadpool" in the number one spot was Poland -- apparently Poland opted to see a more romantic film, which considering it was Valentines Day weekend, makes sense.

That's freaking awesome as hell!!

Watched it today.

Kinda.......hmm. I don't want to say I was underwhelmed but....yeah...

The worst part is I'm not sure why. I can usually at least come close to pinpointing where with movies but I can't with DP.

Supposedly this movie was amazing in a Dolby theater, I saw it in a dump. 4K, HDR plus Atmos. When this is out on UHD Blu-Ray is when I'll buy my UHD player. I have the TV and sound system to match that. This movie justify the price of those players to me, crazy.

Deadpool fan here. I'm not super oldschool but I read the Merc With A Mouth comic up until issue 30 or so. Plus I do know his origin and the story line of a couple of miniseries. I did like the game but I'm not a big fan of character action games. I thought the game was a solid 8 out of 10.

I LOVED this. This was fucking amazing. Funny as hell.

I fucking loved this movie. Great fun would definitely watch it again I'd also like turn your attention to the 50% off sale for the Deadpool game which is also pretty fun.

What a time to be alive

My gf loves it and she hates superhero movies

My coworkers (who watch nothing but romcoms) love it too (plus Ryan Reynolds)

Literally everyone is talking about this movie

Motherfucking Deadpool a niche Marvel character

This is easily the funniest comic/action movie too. I laughed my fucking ass consistently. I can't think of any comedies in the last couple of years that had that effect.

It was an ok movie, truly at its best when it was being fast and flippant. (I'm looking at you drawn out origin story)

I think that was done so the beginning of the movie wouldn't be a drawn out actionless part of the movie so instead it intercut the origin with action beat flashforwards to keep the crowd going during the dry spell. I thought it was very smart filmmaking tbh.

Shit was amazing, and the villain was strong too even if not very original, im tired of Superhero movies with lame ass villains.

Thought it was good. Lot of the time I was sitting with my head in my hand yawning, but others I was laughing. Hit and miss moments spread throughout, probably more misses.

The framework is there for a great sequel though.

Ehhhh... he was pretty shitty.

Marvel movies still have yet to really break that problem. GotG is the only one that stands out, not counting overrated Loki.

i thought the last battle (and his "powers") was bad, but he had a bit of charisma when he started torturing Wade and presented himself, that puts him above most Marvel villains by default-

You mean the movie where the main antagonist has absolute power in his hand (literally), is inches from achieving his primary goal, and gets defeated by a dancing Star-Lord?

The joys of being a parent; going to a movie takes planning and you're dependent on others. Found a sitter for fridaynight. So excited!
