Uncharted 4 delayed two weeks to May 10

Don't forget shuhei said he didn't know why they were selling so many ps4s. Nintendo didn't expect the Wii to be so big. Sony know what they are doing with hardware but there is no way to just make something that sells like the ps4 is. There's a lot of luck as well and just all sorts of factors. Sony has it all this gen tho. If people knew how to make a guaranteed seller everyone would

That would be true if Sony did not sell 100 million plus PS1 and PS2 .
Yes they had some luck but it was not a huge factor and Sony knows how to sell systems.
Shu did not expect PS4 to sell so fast but Sony had well thought out plan .
Hell before the system was out there marketing was on point .

I need to order DS3 and now i will have time for R&C.

Hell before the system was out there marketing was on point with there nostalgia campaign.

Let's dispel with this notion that Sony doesn't know what they're doing. They know exactly what they're doing.

Marco Rubio is that you?

The success of the PS4 just proves that you saying Sony is incompetent is wrong!!!

As for the bold part, do you like to presume much? As i've never said anything about the competition, nor i have indicated that i want to start a silly console dispute! It seems to me that you are on some sort of crusade here, as mentioned before the reasons are of no interest to me! But calling ND and Sony incompetent is... well.. incompetent on it's own!
So, Sony being successful in its hardware division makes them competent in their software division by default? Hahaha, that's some logic you got going.

And that second paragraph.... Hahaha, OK.

Yeah I've been fairly disappointed with First Party output in terms of frequency and quality throughout this gen (both Sony and MS). I've enjoyed most of what I've played, but it seems to be a bit of a drip feed. Good thing I've got my PC/DS/VITA/etc. to fill the gaps.

Again assuming much! I'm confident in Sony's first party studios based on the previous gens, just to let you know! Now i would kindly ask you to stop responding to me as all you do is twist and spin my words, instead of actually having a discussion which makes sense!

BS excuse for needing more time to polish something off.

No one postpone's a launch because they can't meet demands.

April and May should be good though, we're getting 3 exclusive games in the span of those months. Quantum Break, Ratchet and Clank, and Unchared 4. Then I would get Fall will be packed with a bunch as well. Gears 4, The Last Guardian, No Man's Sky, Horizon, Dreams. I just hope none of those get pushed into 2017, I'm looking at you Horizon.

it got easier but that just gives devs opportunities to be more ambitious because they aren't bogged down with other shitty workflow issues
Right and i guess looking at the massive environments in U4, it shows they arent just sitting on their asses and are actually working to enhance the gameplay experience.

It just sucks that these games are now taking 4, 4.5 years to make. I really liked the 2 year dev cycle of most games last gen.

I am guessing ND are on a 3 year dev cylce now. Just the change in directors affected this one.

I remember Vice City and Dan Andreas getting a slight delay for manufacturing. This isn't a bad thing, people. It's only two weeks and it probably means demand is high.

Will this delay alleviate the need for a day one patch

Of course not, unless you want them to sit on their asses doing nothing in the month or so it takes from going gold to manufacturing of the discs and distribution of the game is complete.

No game is ever bug free so I welcome any bug fixing day 1 patches.

I'm glad. I'm sure if they are taking the time they believe it needs the polish. Hopefully will lighten anything like day one patches and whatnot.

Omg imagine a world where somehow servers affected your single player experience. Think of the explosions if the online component servers kept you from accessing your single player game. It's like THE single player game experience. It would be an unreal day to be on GAF.

that said, I've never played an UC game. If this game reviews as well as I'm sure it will, I'll definitely pick it up! Usually series' first foray on new consoles are pretty newcomer friendly.

First delay was due to remaking the entire game. Second delay was more or less expected due to the previous delay, it seemed way to soon. This delay is nothing.

The mere 2 weeks doesn't bother me, what bothers me is ND continuing to say that the game will be released on X date and delay the game soon after their previous confirmation to the aforementioned date.

IDK. Nintendo games have that going for them.
