Lighting looks really inaccurate. The wheels, wheel well, his pants, gun, holster, jeep springs, horn, etc. are glowing from the GI probes off the land and there is no occlusion... ugghh..

Dude, we get it. The light probes can sometimes look inaccurate. You have been repeating this numerous times, what exactly are you trying to prove here?

The game sucked in my opinion because the story was complete ass and the gameplay got boring after a while. The open worlds being barren wastelands and the character being lame shades of their former selves didn't help.

It also had the worst soundtrack of all the Solid games. Nothing to do with "impossible expectations". I expected to be entertained, and the game failed to do that.

To be fair, the game was never going to please you after you read the spoilers thread. I recall you saying you wanted to destroy the world after that.

Honestly, I somewhat sympathize with you, but it is an amazing game for me. Worst soundtrack, definitely can't agree with that. Sins Of The Father and Quiet's Theme were great.

Anyway. Uncharted is a far more consistent, progressive series.

Just gonna give my two cents. While I enjoyed MGS4 for what it was, outside of the first two acts you saw all there was to see as far as gameplay goes. And honestly the story shit on everything that was established in MGS2. I felt MGS4 was nothing more than fanservice. Not saying it isn't enjoyable but that's really what it amounted to.

At the time of its release, MGS4 had the best gameplay systems in the series by far.

And regardless of your vocal minority opinion, MGS4 is almost universally praised by critics and fans alike.

It's a newer build so hopefully they are. The beta did have some rough looking textures, especially the city map.
