1.5-2 weeks from now. He's heading to Italy for 7 days soon based on his twitter. I think he will give it a 9, though I can see him giving another 10. He was asking if he can do it in one go, and I hope not. He should take his time and enjoy the game. Savor it, I certainly will.

I always wonder about the mentality of the hyper-fanboy. Do they sit there at their PC, getting slightly angrier with every new high scoring review that pops up? Eventually their emotional dam wall bursts and they... post a negative review on metacritic!!!

No one really goes below 6 when using the 10 point system.

6-10 is pretty much 90&% of review scores. I personally think the 5 star thing is much better.

Yeah. The game does a really good job of adding dimensions to Nate's personality, relying both on events of the past games, and new events in this one.

Are people not allowed to mock and ridicule both the fanboys who have meltdowns when their game receives a lower score than expected and also the haters who flip out when a game (they similarly have not played) receives glowing praise? Even on gaf there was thread where someone was celebrating the fact that a review outlet gave UC4 a less than stellar review. Are the walls of shame only reserved for fanboys on one end but not the other?

I would say this is one of the greatest games of all time, based on the 10+ hours I have so far.

And I doubt by the time I finish the game I will shy away from that opinion.

Feels like saying its only going to be one of the greatest games of this generation is selling Uncharted 4 short honestly.

One of the greatest of all time. I honestly think so right now. I haven't felt this excited and engaged with a game in years. I'm at the point of being anxious while I play because I want to see everything yet know I will miss things on my first playthrough.

I genuinely feel in some way I've warped back into the 90s and had all the dreams I could possibly have for an action-adventure game realized with Uncharted 4. It is literally mind-blowing to compare this to contemporary games or games from which we have come from playing before.

From the in progress review it sounded like a done deal, only to check if the multiplayer is working properly.
