Pokemon first, then Zelda. Nintendo UK just sent out this e-mail:

"Tune in starting at 5 p.m. BST to see the Pokémon™ Sun and Pokémon Moon games in action, followed by the world’s first in-depth look at the new Legend of Zelda™ game. The day will continue with live-streamed gameplay and behind-the-scenes info from the game experts of Nintendo Treehouse—live and unscripted from the show floor. "

To make this into something pretty good, at least feature Paper Mario and some new Amiibos. And maybe celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the Nintendo 64 with a remake?

I wonder if I can choose a good time to dash home from work. I'll stick around here until about 5:30pm me thinks, so hopefully see all the Pokemon goodness and then try to load it up on my phone and just sprint home in the rain while watching anything Zelda.

See post #5102. Isn't this copypasta from Nintendo's previous PR, the second to newest one? My point being, it may be outdated if they just copied it from that without realizing the newer PR.

While I am very excited to see more of this game, I'm going to try to keep my expectations in check because based on past Zelda games both on the home console and handheld, the Zelda team makes a combination of good, but also and questionable and frustrating design choices. I hope Nintendo has prepared a good showing cause Skyward Sword's initial gameplay reveal was fairly clumsy and underwhelming. Unfortunately, I'll be at work until 11:30 AM, so I'll be missing out on the initial live-stream event.

1) The big design flaws in the Aonuma Zeldas have been the forced hand-holding and the game popping up messages that stops you from playing. An open world and rumored voice acting would both suggest that those are going away. I do hope there's an option for folks to get help and direction but it should be optional (and puzzle hints should be subtle if you don't ask for help).

2) I don't think the Treehouse has screwed up showing anything on Treehouse Live yet.

I can't believe the title of this thread still hasn't been fixed, especially now that Pokemon is likely being shown first. That'll throw a bunch of people for a loop...

Will you watch the IGN pre-show at 8:30 PDT? I love their Nintendo crew. Otero, Peer and Brian make a great team.

I will probably do that, they're pretty great. Otero is good at initiating interesting discussions, regardless of whether it's tapping into the positives or the negatives of the company. I'm expecting too many of the other E3 streams to be all

or not really bothering having discussions about their showing because they don't really give a shit.

DUDE, I want to see something from HAL Lab.

Fuck this shit...

Little did you know, Link can steal people's weapons and powers in this game. Fight a Darknut to get the greatsword, fight a Wizzrobe to get the magic rod. All with their own special moves. Be sure to remember the invincibility frames, you'll need it for when you go through Extra Mode and The True Arena.

Sorry if this has been asked, but according to Youtube Nintendo's Treehouse stream lasts an hour from 12:00 EDT to 13:00 EDT...

Are we expecting the Treehouse stream to be longer than that on Nintendo's Youtube/E3 site?

Does that indicate that the "trailer" section will be an hour long, and then the Treehouse gameplay/dev interview section will continue after that?

Confusing stuff...

Have court for my accident today, so hope it ends soon enough for me to make the hour drive home to catch the Zelda stuff. I don't mind missing the pokemon stuff, as I can just check that out pater, but I NEED to see the Zelda info live.

The first hour is the main presentation of Zelda and Pokemon Sun/Moon. Pokemon first.

After that hour, the stream will continue with Treehouse Live from the show floor, where the Zelda game will be played and discussed.

Not enough suck, my friend.
