Pokémon Sun & Moon |OT| Ultra Beasts and where to find them

I want to use Wishiwashi but it seems broken.

I found the Scald TM and used it on mine and it is wrecking everything even without water being super effective =/

Welcome to Sun & Moon, enjoy your stay. For more F2P garbage, check the PokePelago.

...yeah it's pretty bad unless I'm completely missing something.

Ranking up seems to just give out a random store with a random level. I've gotten duplicates as well. It would take at least 48 minutes to buy a 4* shop and that's only if you get 50 coins per mission.

Can someone quickly just tell me if this game is worth buying? I know absolutely nothing about the new Pokemon game but I've played them all. I enjoy them casually and am looking for a new game.

A couple of questions:
#1. Why is everyone going for a female starter? It shouldn't affect much in the game. Males can be bred for females.
#2: This one is about Hyper Training. I know you can raise the IVs, but is it that useful at level 100? You'll already have maxed out EVs, which you'll have to get rid of. Do your stats somehow increase in battle?

1. It's just rarer, plus Primarina being female seems more fitting.
2. It raises stats even more. You need max EVs and IVs to have the "perfect" Pokemon. Ivs are very important, especially for speed.

The amount of people getting female starters without trying, lol. I got female Popplio immediately, as well as one of my friends, another got a female Rowlett without trying. Almost makes it seem like the ratio was changed to 50/50, but we all know that won't ever happen. >.>

For those of you still trying, I wish you luck. I know how long it can take to just get a nature you want. Jesus.

Alright, thanks. My second question was geared more along the lines of if your stats will increase at level 100 after hyper training. I know about IVs and EVs. At level 100, you should have max EVs. I know the boost is for battle only, but will the stats change?

Does someone know where I can battle Kiawe and Mallow? Don't know where they live and if something needs to be done to make them appear.

Female starter means you can breed it as soon as you reach the daycare and don't have to wait until you can catch a Ditto, whenever that is.

I'm now convinced that female Salandit don't actually exist and this all one big prank at my expense.

Part of me was hoping that the ol' "it'll appear when you complain on the Internet" trick would work... also a bust. *finally hits post*

Edit: I feel you MetroidVania.

I just read online that it is really laggy on old 3DS hardware. Any comments on that? Are people freaking out over nothing or is it in fact annoying?

A little laggy. I've only noticed it during Totem battles when the Pokemon are huge. It takes a couple seconds to use the move I've selected.

So, is there a list of recommended natures for certain Pokemon out there? I really feel like I shouldn't focus too hard on this during my initial playthrough, but my starter was an Adamant Female Rowlet on the first try, and I feel slightly obligated.

Also sort of bummed about Moon not having Alolan Vulpix, though I'm sure it shouldn't be too difficult of a trade to make happen.

Female Salandits....do not exist, lol.
Catch a male Igglybuff with Cute Charm to the left of the Battle Royal (or evolve a male Eevee into Sylveon), place it out front when searching for Salandit. Not 100% chance of getting a female but I caught like 3 or 4 this way in less than a half hour.

Anything involving more than two pokemon on the screen is pretty bad. Battle royale (the 4 person free for all) is terrible.

Also, Festival Plaza can be bad when spawning guest trainers to talk to.

Otherwise, overworld stuff is fine.

Good call. Here goes nothign.

How do I get Crawbrawler? None of island 1 berry patches have generated an encounter for me.

My wife was able to find them easier.

I feel like my early Alola catches have been useless ;_;

got pipikek and ledyba and despite levelling them they are still less useful than the wingull and slowpoke I already caught :P
The earlybird usually has potential to be alright and given this one has
an 100 base power signature move in its final form which can burn opponents that make contact with it
it shouldn't be another Pidgeot or Unfezant. As for Ledyba. Ledian is garbage; it can get some good moves but doesn't have the stats to really do anything with them.

I wish there wasn't so much hand holding at the beginning. I'm restarting with my roommate to get all 3 starters and it takes sooooooooo long to get your Rolodex.
