When you play Ellie in Winter, She feels much more vulnerable to play, lighter, less utilities than Joel by a fair margin that if they make her playable in TLOU2, it's going to be incredible to see the changes of what Ellie's gone through not just through characterization but how she physically plays now she's older. Her weight, mobility, her actions, what kind of equipment she could potentially use,

Not even sure why people weren't expecting a Sequel particularly for Ellie especially since I felt that the game was heavily leaning towards setting an origin to Ellie's story and there's just so much more they could do with her character.

Maybe the story involves Tommy's settlement being destroyed by some leftover Fireflies since the first game seemed to imply that the two would head back there as they finished their mission and their job was complete. The people there all get killed, Ellie feels guilty because maybe they came for her and she wants payback. And Joel himself could have gotten killed if he is a hallucination. Or Joel disapproves and is trying to stop her.

I understand your sentiment, but I also think it should be easy to understand why some people wouldn't necessarily want some of the greatest characters of all time to be possibly "tarnished" by a sequel.

I'm not saying they will be, but the risk was too high for me. That's how much Ellie and Joel mean to me.

Now after this fucking trailer I might have changed my mind, that's how good it was.

personally, it seems like their setting her up with an "arya stark" type of story, were the fireflies may have killed the people she loved (girlfriend? other people) band now out to destroyed them all, it's pretty interesting, it just how much she's changed, once she started to grown and have things to fight for.

The fuck you talking about? TLoU is god tier multiplayer gaming. I can't wait to see what their MP guys are working on for it - during the panel last year (or the year before?), they mentioned so many awesome ideas that were scrapped but should be possible on a new generation of hardware.
