Yeah, no relation. Only playtime affects card drops. Thanks! This explains a lot. So they are unrelated to the steam achievements?

Nah. As I get older, I can see myself becoming more casual and just getting a single console as opposed to multiple like right now as I get less and less free time. Investment into a PC wouldn't be worth it.
Console is a minefield as well and probably less "plug and play" than it's ever been.Never. PC gaming is a fucking minefield of tinkering and fucking around. I love the simplicity of consoles. Plug and play.

I considered it at the start of the current generation (after owning a P3, 360 and a Wii), but ultimately ended up buying a Wii U for the exclusive local coop games.
So, whether I fully abandon consoles really depends on how many great exclusive local coop games Nintendo releases for Switch.
Not really. They serve different purposes...currently.

Funny, because Digital Foundrys fulltime job now seems to be patch note analysis on whats broken in this weeks PS4Pro patch

Funny. I'm currently waiting on my Diablo 3 update to download before I launch the game so I can see if the Pro version is worth it or if I should stick to the original.
PC version however, is ready to go.
The concepts of convenient console games and overcomplicated PC games are old notions.

Yeah, was about to say this. Great times inserting a disc and having to download a 9 GB patch before I can start playing my PS4 game.

But I still play fps on my pc, is it just better
You mean plug and install and download patches and restart downloads and then install again and pay for multiplayer and play?
