Looks awesome:D sadly you can't get the hero mode art on the front side but ohwell will just put it as the only game case that way then:P

Feels SO akward coming from Splatoon 1...

The jump was on X, not B, wasn't it? I miss 2 jumps out of 3 pressing X and bringing the map...

Also, it's disappointing that you can't have BOTH vertical axis for right stick AND gyro :/ Why?

So I wasn't crazy in the test the jump really messed with me

lol, the Treehouse have outdone themselves

"your corporate shill game is on point" lol

also Marina scratching and dropping to the rhythm to unveil the stage rotation is the best

God help us all if they're stupid enough to put Marina on Team Mayo.

They're going to have to remove the drawing feature from the game.

(Also I hope North America avoids that same topic)

Managed to get to Lv4 on my lunch hour:

Didn't do too badly! One of the losses had a man down, the other was the opponents pulling off a really good push right at the end. =D

GGs. Particularly for whoever FloGamerHD was cos they was my bro for like 3 of these. <3

EDIT: Oh by the way the SplatNet2 thingy is super neat. If other games have the same thing then the app isn't a complete waste.

Game controls are what's holding me back from buying. I have zero experience with FPS'es on consoles, so I'm afraid that awkward controls will keep me from playing this.

Thoughts?

If it helps, it does have an entire singleplayer campaign which allows infinite time to get used to the controls.

Splatoon's controls are perfection, there's a decent learning curve though so they'll probably feel really weird at first

Can easily get 1k+ turf points each game so i am doin better than splatoon 1 lol but the pro controller is damn good.

Wii U Tablet was huge af for pro playing for me.

Someone must have messed with the brightness and saturation levels on that picture. Or possibly the cap.

It's clearly a Maroon on their site and in person it's a bright mario-style red, horrible stuff. It's really cheaply made too, very thin and poor quality with a flimsy thin plastic strap on the back.

How's the gyro with the Pro Controller guys? I don't know why but gyro in a normal size controller seems like it will take a minute for me to get used to over the Wii U gamepad.

When you've filled the arrow DRY winning streak meter thing, is there something you need to do afterwards? The game doesn't really do a good job of explaining what certain things are...

Playing with the joycon grip, I had to knock the gyro sensitivity down two notches, but then it was absolutely fine.

Not a FPS but I get what you're saying. I don't play FPS either and I feel the controls are great for a 3rd person shooter. I don't like or use motion controls but I've seen nothing but praise in how well the motion controls are if you want to go that route and as for regular controls they're great with being easy to learn. You can also adjust the sensitivity setting of your controls.

I have reached Level 4 and just defeated the first Boss Octarian and that burst of creativity makes me roll my eyes and laugh out loud at the same time.

Splatoon 2 is pure fun.

Based on Splatoon 1, it's more about knowing where you plant yourself and where you're helpful on the map. Precise aiming can help, but that's usually not what the game is about. If you're coming with no controller experience for aiming, the gyro controls (default) may be the way to go, because you'll have a few hours of getting acclimated anyway.

Popped my Splatoon cherry and did a few multiplayer games. Game is fun but I'm trash lol. I can't decide how I like to play better. I need to stick to a style.
