its been a series of events. this whole fucking year has been a mess.
December 2019 - They literally watched Phil reveal his new console in front of them, boast about being the most powerful and show a game that looked far better than the PS5 game at the game award.
Jan 2020 - After 1 month of anticipation, they went to CES only to show a logo.
Jan 2020 - Sony cancels their E3 conference.
March - After two months of no communcation, Releases a poorly received Road to PS5 video without the UE5 demo which was ready to go at that point.
June - After another two months of dragging their heels, cancels the reveal two days after announcing it.
And I am not buying this 25 years of being successful BS. JC Penny was successful for 100 years. It went backrupt last week. Companies rise and fall in America. The PS3 is proof that Sony can fuck up a launch big time. Xbox One is proof that after the success of Xbox 360, MS could fuck up. Same goes for the Wii U.
In fact, Nintendo has been successful for 30 years now and they are as irrelevant as ever when it comes to pushing tech forward. No one even brings up Nintendo in tech threads and they are selling record number of consoles. Them being successful and profitable means nothing to me and 99% of the posters in this thread. the Past simply doesnt matter, we need to judge them for the way they have gone about revealing their new console and its been a fucking disaster so far.
