Right now at this very moment you can't buy a Series S or X anywhere in the UK apart from eBay.

I'm in the UK and frequent hotukdeals. The Switch is supply constrained, but no where near the extent of any of the next gen consoles.

There's been plenty of the new Mario edition stock over the past week or so, the new Monster Hunter units are still available to pre-order everywhere, the regular consoles come in and out of stock every couple of days and the lite is available everywhere.

The demand for the new Xbox's and PS5 is extremely high. Stock comes and is sold out practically immediately.

So while you might be right to say the Switch is supply constrained, if you're implying that's the only reason Xbox has come out on top you are talking pure cat aids.

The Switch supply issues is a know thing since last year... not just in UK (Japan and US too).
Right now there is supply issues in UK... so what make people things supply was not a issue in the last week?
PS5 and Series X the same.

Seems like Series S is the most available of the 4 systems... Switch Lite seems to be ok too but nobody wants to buy it.

So what is happening in UK? The console that shipped more will have more sales... that is simple.

This doesn't say anything about popularity, simply a matter of supply.

Interesting re: the Series S, stock informer shows how quickly even that comes and goes (AO with a £20 mark up, cheeky bastards);

What's crazy is this is just the beginning. Some have convinced themselves that battle lines are which port of Control is better and Kracken/noodles.

Wait until these MS devs start busting out exclusives and change the conversation. It's gonna be some rough waters ahead for fanboys.

yeah completely different than including multiple generations. it's no different than Sony combining PS4 and PS4 pro sales together or xbox one s and xbox one x
 
Until either one actually has a single console that sits unsold on a store shelf for more than 5 minutes, it's pointless to say one "outsold" the other.
 
Bought my second xbox series today (series s for the bedroom).....

Xbox consoles arnt as readily available in the UK as people might think. I've been looking for a series s since new year and the X is even more rare. Granted PS5 stock is probably worse

though the file size thread was the opposite
neither seemed earth-shattering to me, but as I predicted the partisan sides would each claim their victory as crushing the other... not that such a prediction was terribly difficult to make or required particularly strong intuition
