Hezbollah has ALREADY attacked, I think the IDF is just waiting for enough enemy forces to gather to make for an effective pre-emptive strike or enough assurances by the US that the carrier group will intervene should Hez cross the border before focusing on Gaza.

From a strategic point of view, this a perfect opportunity for China to make it's big move by taking Taiwan. They are trying to spread the US thin by creating a three front war. Clearly it is all interconnected, Israel were provoked to create exactly what is now happening.

There is no chance of that happening, yes there could be a big war with Iran and its militias around Israel but nothing more. And even then, if you're from the U.S. but not in Military you won't know what war is anyway because you won't get to the war zone.

This is why the US has 11 carriers. Granted, probably half are in dock at any particular time but the Navy has a lot of reach.

Do you know how much equipment you need to prepare for operations to seize a densely populated island with a regular, reasonably well-equipped and trained army? It took Russia almost a year to prepare for war with Ukraine and they have a very long border with them on land. Nothing will happen overnight, the US will have enough time to react.

Sadly when you live in western Europe then it is nothing strange anymore, now these motherfuckers that should be deported have reason to attack more often again.

The political fallout at home and with other Muslim led countries. Mainly the Saudis. It would also further destabilize the region where a significant portion of the worlds oil comes from at a time where the oil supply is pretty precarious thanks to Russia's continued failure in Ukraine. Which would jack up prices for gas at a time where the average person is already struggling. Also neither the Dems nor the Republicans want to get involved in another Middle Eastern conflict after only just recently getting out of one.


The only reason that both sides would support getting involved directly is if there is an imminent threat to the existence of Israel and it's people from the Iranian military. And even then it would most just be a no fly zone over Israel and retaliatory air strikes against Iranian targets. Not actual boots on the ground or direct attacks on the Iranian government.

As I said before a couple times, I knew most of mid east terrorists and supporters arent revolting due to land grabs or political stuff.

It's born and bred excitement. The thrill of the hunt. As I said in one of my posts yesterday. It's like big gamblers at a casino who care more about the rush of winning and losing. Not the actual money won or lost.

Problem with the west is IF they do decide to expell these radicals, where do they go? Imprison them? No country will take them, their countries of origin (if they are not 1st generation) are likely in disarray, there is no Australia equivalent unless we make some sort of gigantic, true, "open air prison" or Escape from New York equivalent to send these guys. So it's gonna be a perpetual catch and release rotating door until they do something really atrocious as they will just Bully Bully Bully and then immediately roll over and show belly claiming to be a victim the instant they get some push back. So it's really incumbent on the more rational members of their communities to self police, shut down radical voices, and preach tolerance lest what they get is a "Night of Broken Glass" of extremely violent eradication which doesn't discriminate. Scary and totally unnecessary if these communities truly want to integrate and it is really just a few hothead causing all the trouble (large marches say otherwise but time may tell).

Belgian police in our local press say they can't confirm ties with the conflict in the Middle East. Guess they are downplaying it to avoid panic because what are the fucking odds.

I've seen reports of people getting visits from counter-terrorism forces later on. Hopefully the inaction of police here is not them giving up entirely but avoiding a big battle for the moment only to come down hard on them after. Many wear masks but London has a lot of CCTV, doesn't it? Maybe counter terrorism can track them back.

If you see them as demons, you wouldn't torture them. Youd end them as quickly as possible. The fact that they tortured them proves they knew these were human beings just like them.
