You're ASSUMING he would know. Too many history scholars are knowledgeable in the popular historical ages: early America, the medieval period, the dark ages, ancient Rome, ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt/Africa, Ancient South America, etc.
You have to WANT to learn about Israel and it's VAST history and the Palestinians and their history, too. It's more niche than it probably should be.
He's also probably just not curious enough to look into it. Like a lot of these people, they think it's the same situation as the South African Apartheid or American Apartheid aka Jim Crow. And it's NOT. It's MUCH more complicated than that.

But I honestly think him and folks like him are as I described. The history is complex with lots of conflicting narratives... It's just easier to believe it's a simple thing like Apartheid or the civil rights movement.
Not every leftist is anti American. I love this country... It's where I was born. That's why most minorities chose to stay here despite laws and such being passed against us... This is our home. If not for leftists, we'd still be under Jim Crow.

It's not clear what could effectively be done without huge casualties. Gaza, despite the 'open air prison/concentration camp' bullshit, is probably the most fortified place in the world.
There are tunnels and IED's everywhere and a house you cleared may have 20 suicide bombers streaming out of it 10 minutes later.

Nope. You just kicked a self-goal, showing that if Israel would not occupy parts of the West Bank and left, they would get what they got from Gaza. Israel left Gaza in 2005 and got terror, there's no reason for it to leave the West Bank. Palestinians showed they can't manage themselves, and the PLO had 3 chances at peace and quiet and they rejected them all.

The more i read about Israel and ME the more complicated it gets.
Jews were sent there by the west but as already pointed out there were already jews there, not as many as they used to be, but it is the place where they came from as i understand.
Personally, to be honest i don't care about religious claims, i find them extremely stupid and they should not be acceptable as proof.

Would they be ok if all the jews are relocated somewhere else but also all the muslims of the west with middle eastern origins get deported back and no one is accepted?

Israel gave a lot when they did not have to, because they are trying to solve a problem. Whatever Israel gave to arabs was from its own volition. No arab country can coerce Israel to do whatever. Arabs lost those wars that they have started. The only war the Israel started was the 6 days war where it pre-emptively struck instead of waiting for it.
The view is simple. Arabs kept losing, still losing, and Israel offered 3 peace deals where the latest offered them 97% of the land they asked for, and they still rejected it.
Arabs tried and failed taking it by force many times, and won't go for peace.

Yes, the bible tells us the story that god 'gave' us the land, but that was 3K years ago, where Muslims are the newest religion at around 700years, and Jerusalem became holy even later than that. I don’t usually like to badmouth people randomly on the internet, and I haven’t been keeping up too much with this whole thing that much, but my friend said he “supported Palestine” yesterday after I made a slight joke about the situation. I thought he was joking himself until he started talking about Gaza getting carpet bombed or something.

That's how all the nations in the world were build. Not sure why Israel who won wars and the land should give it back because the UN says so. Than we should all revert back to the world we had. Not to mention there was no Palestine country, ever, and arabs never owned the land anyway.
No, Palestinians don't understand losing. Israel will defend itself, Hamas will be gone, and god willing also Hezbollah.
Palestinians only know terror and can't offer anything else to the world. They should have moved on already, lived their lives, which they could've many times over if they laid down their arms. But then they would have to face actually doing something for themselves, and they don't know anything else but playing the victim.

Then we have what actually happened, which is that Palestinians rejected all of Israel's good will efforts to move forward and coexist because they never wanted it, peaceful cooperation with Jews was never an acceptable outcome, that is the only reason the Gaza strip is a shit hole to begin with. People act like Israel forcefully detained the entire place to subjugate its citizens. On the contrary Israel practiced restraint by not bombing it off the map and instead trying to contain their aggressive neighbor.
This entire thing really "started" because Egypt's leader decided to be a dick in the 60's and block Israel's shipping routes. Israel and Egypt began to tango and other Arabs decided to join in to help Egypt. When you are surrounded by hostile countries and fighting for survival, yeah you might end up controlling some land. In the aftermath of this Israel tried to balance protecting themselves with opening opportunities for the people of Gaza to move on but big surprise, for every attempt by Israel to step forward, "the occupied" take two steps back with more violence or rhetoric leading up to the worst event that just happened. Maybe if every effort to cooperate for peace wasn't met with rockets, Israel wouldn't need to squeeze the strips balls so hard. You don't want anything but the annihilation of Israel and no matter what anyone says, it will be their fault just for existing.
