Looks like a proper remake ala RE2 Remake/RE3 Remake/RE4 Remake.

Obviously Dead Rising is a newer game so it's a less dramatic change, but this sure looks like it's running on RE Engine.

And it's MT Framework. Presumably, it will be the modern MT Framework engine that Capcom says doesn't work on Series S/X.
